Totally agree. I have convinced myself that Carbonized Grey wouldn't look terrible with the pumpkin orange accents and stitching, but I would much rather have the blue.
Nah, its on purpose for whatever reason. The molds are made from plastic pellets. If you want black molded plastic tops, you use black pellets. Its not a mix and match until you get the right color. The MIC Carbon Grey is on purpose.
Yeah, in the 70s and 80s this was acceptable, but its 2020. When 99.9% of every other vehicle being produced today offers this feature, the Bronco should as well.
So no beverage holders in the back with cloth or MGV when the doors are off? Man, my kid is going to hate this thing. Arm rest in back with cup holders should be standard, regardless of seat material.
I had almost this exact same conservation with my wife. She actually liked the Badlands mustard yellow trim and stitching though. I don't know, she married me so she's naturally a little off.
More or better interior stitching and trim options. Should be basic gray / black or match exterior colors. I reserved a WildTrak and wanted Rapid Red, until I saw the interior. Now I'm trying to wrap my head around the 'Halloween Orange' / mustard yellow stitching and trim on the Badlands. This...
My mind is blown with all of this. Didn't Ford do any community focus groups and research on the interior designs before agreeing on factory offerings? Navy blue interior doesn't match any exterior option, and the thought of a Cyber Orange or Rapid Red FE with that interior makes me throw up in...
Exactly right for me, but I want Rapid Red. The idea of having blue stitching and blue grab rails, vent adjusters, etc. on a red vehicle is atrocious. The Wildtrak is a $50k plus vehicle! Spending $50k with Mercedes-Benz gives you dozens of different seat and trim combinations to choose from.
After debating for awhile, I put in my WildTrak reservation today. I was on the fence between the Badlands and the WildTrak. I was indifferent about the Sasquatch, but wanted the painted hardtop roof and the 2.7 and didn't care for the rock rails and modular bumper on the Badlands as I expected...
I am becoming more interested in the Vinyl, but still leary. I had a black '79 Chevy Malibu in high school with black vinyl seats. During the summer time the seats would get so hot it could cause blisters on bare skin.
Coming from a lifted IFS Jeep Grand Cherokee thats the first thing I noticed as well. I understand that the vehicle is unweighted at this point, but I wonder how much lift is possible before those angles get too much. Im sure that RCV will have something coming out though for these though.
I understand that the Bronco is supposed to be a utilitarian vehicle, but after looking at the feet upon feet of un-textured hard plastic on the doors and under the dash makes me wonder if this is really a $50k+ vehicle. I'm hoping to be more impressed once I see a production version in person.
