The Ford dealership I go to has a new Ranger Raptor for less than 58K which isn’t that bad.

Dang, I wish this location was available a few years ago as it’s only 3.5 hours from me driving time. Makes sense though as this is very close to where Supercell East is held every year also.

If I knew the hood was still going to be a pain to close I wouldn’t have bought them. :( You still have to slam it shut. I’ll keep them though because it really does help when opening the hood.

Anybody else have issues with their hood closing after installing these? I can get it to close completely but only after slamming it shut. Or is this just a Ford issue? Because with the OEM one it was always slammed shut just due to the hood naturally falling.

Hood struts installed today:

Cup holders in the back because you can never have too many of those.

Oh and I still like beer. :)

You should of bought a CyberTruck instead.

Factory with B&O system. I would like to do forscan for it also but haven’t gotten around to it.

I have the Mabett ones with 6.5” Kicker speakers. Overall a big improvement over the previous smaller ones from Ford. No issues with installation.

Still couldn’t get it off with any hand tool. Finally just said f*ck it and used my Dremel tool to cut into each locking tab to loosen it. That finally did the trick. Talk about a pain in my Quokka’s ass though. Why does Ford have to make everything so difficult?
