2024 BB manual order holders unite !(2-door in my case)
We are all here for mutual moral support as we wait
As a side note to your avatar - been watching "The Path" - very enjoyable
Agree - if I wasn't set on a 2-door manual with a low trim, I think it would be financially much smarter to wait and scoop up a deal when some of those factors come to a head next year.
Perhaps an impossible question to answer....but hard to understand what to expect when 2024 production starts next year, and how similar/different things will be regarding wait times vs. the past few years for order builds. This certainly seems to be a situation where past performance will not...
It's a really good point about probability of production, but for me personally, the manual is the #1 non-negotiable feature of this potential purchase. I want to drive manuals until they are gone or my replacement knees start to rust . Yes, definitely seen those comments about...
Very subjective of course.....for me it even varies depending on the car. My current car has been de-badged.
That said, I have a 2024 Bronco order in the queue and I like the look of the Archetype Racing script fender badges so much I already ordered them 🤣
Just placed an order last week. I will say that despite earlier posts about limited communication, the quick responsiveness I received during my order process/customization has been fantastic. Thanks Tracy!
Yes, that might have been me (ordered 2024 BB 2-door, manual tranny, rear locker from a dealer here in NH - order confirm e-mail received from Ford on Oct. 26).
Best suggestion would be to use the Ford Build/Price tool - you can see at least in theory what's possible and how choosing certain...
Ordered 2024 2dr manual BB (non-SAS) via local dealer last week, and received the order confirmation e-mail from Ford immediately. So yes, it does appear they are building manuals for 2024 MY....
FWIW - I just ordered a 2024 manual 2-door non-SAS Big Bend last week with manual and rear locker. It forces a 4.46, but manual + rear locker is definitely possible without SAS. Not sure if 4-door affects this.
Equipment group 222A is the mid-package
I had some back-and-forth with the dealer...
Definitely a little confusing. The build sheet I signed shows manual, 4.46 and locker (with $495 charge).
As I said above, I test drove and was all set to order a Black Diamond - really wanted some of the mid-package comfort items, the floors/drain plug and trying to stay < $50k. But the...
Yes, they did provide one.....so there is that. If that is common, then probably not fibbing - thanks!
Yeah - there are some weird things like that I've also encountered. I was set on a 2-door Black Diamond with mid-package and manual....but for some reason BD + mid-package forces automatic.
First time poster, long time reader...so much great info here.
I've been working with a dealer here in NH to configure a Big Bend non-Squach order. Things seemed pretty straight-forward (MSRP), until I asked them to add the rear locker to the spec. The Ford build site adds it to the Big Bend...
