You hit on my point exactly. When I said mirror light I meant the oracle mirror lights I will be installing and running to aux 3. Just wanted to use a single switch for both the forward facing Ditch light and these puddle lights.

Can I have these wired in with the mirror lights? I have lux package so if I'm adding these chances are the only time I would have them on is if I have the mirror lights on. Trying to save an aux switch

Would picking up a small bottle of clearcoat touch-up do the job from the start? Apply a little to the inside edges of the lettering and maybe the accessory mount holes. Not sure I a clearcoat works well with powder coating but if it does this would be an easy rust preventative set.

That rust is disappointing. I got this for Xmas and was getting ready to install. Pulling it off to touch-up rust in the future is no easy task.
