I'm shopping for a set of extra wheels for my Badlands and I've found:
My wheels are painted all gray.
I think I've seen painted all black, I could be mistaken about that.
There are older wheels in both gray and black with partial machined highlights.
My wheels are 17X8", there are 17X7.5"...
I'll be wanting to mount some amber diffuse fog lights to my Badlands with Modular bumper with a Baja bar. These will be strictly to increase my visibility to other drivers, I rarely drive at night and don't see a need for additional lighting at this point. I'd like to hear suggestions for both...
I probably won't pursue it but if anyone figures it out I'd love to have it. I have an older Tacoma and guys have figured it out but I've always felt it was over my head and not found anyone to do it for me.
My biggest frustration with this system is that it doesn't offer the one feature that would be very useful to me, and I've wished for on every 4X4 I've had, it's 2 low! 4A low would be acceptable, but I can't get that either unless that can be done with Forscan in which case I'd be all over it.
Good info in this thread. I've decided that my tire needs on my standard Badlands will be met by replacing the stock 285/70-17 tires with 285/75-17 tires which have a very similar O.D. to the stock Sasquatch tires, on the stock Badlands rims (after I wear out the originals). Hopefully they won't...
Yes, I see that front locker is available in 4 Hi in "MUD/RUT" and "SLIPPERY" modes. It would be nice to have that information in a simple matrix printed out to avoid researching each mode for a seldom used option like 4 Hi with front difflock. (It would be seldom used for my use anyway).
I'd like to tag on to this thread since it's the closest I've found to what I'm looking for.
I have a new 25 standard Badlands and am trying to figure out the modes. my manual gives descriptions of the modes but it includes modes I don't have (Sport) and models I don't have (Raptor). It would...
I would be inclined to not use the all wheel drive option on the selector and not worry about the tire difference. You will never get a professional approval of using mixed wear tires on an AWD system. I do use and appreciate that setting though.
