No top and a washout interior. Loved that on my ā97 D90. The new Defender is just like every other model in their lineup now. Being able to wash out the inside from the beach, mountain, or desert is really great. Who wants to put a wet dog covered in sand into an enclosed vehicle with a $300...
Love the Steelers, though wish the gloss was lower. Iām getting A51 to go with them. If I get pushed to ā22, I might go Mansquach, so there goes the steelies. So itās really my optimism that Ford will build Broncs this year and a lot of first day orders will cancel!
This is really a concern. Iām surprised Ford would let a dealer convert an order without a customer signature or other authorization. That seems like a lack of business controls that could bite a dealer in many ways. On the other hand, the actual transactions are between Ford and the dealer...
Loaded.
In all seriousness, I have reached out, but despite forum posts that my dealer will honor x-plan and have no ADM, last week the salesman said price āwill be what the market will bearā. Since Iām the market, I wonāt bear much. I didnāt transfer to some of the active forum dealers as I...
Thanks for the pics. I like the steelies as they remind me of the Defender and just look functional. My old Defender had alloys, but I always worried about them on the trail. Iām ordering a 2dr BD in A51 and maybe slap some 33ās on. It will mostly go to the beach with the top off and...
As I posted on another thread, my dealer wonāt divulge their allocation, but implied Iād be ok. But they also said pricing will be āwhat the market will bearā. So not a good start. My only leverage is shifting my reservation elsewhere. However, just calling Ford to move it might not help...
My dealer told me their allocation and my rank was āproprietaryā. Also that there were no promotions or incentives for purchase or financing on Bronco, and that pricing would be āwhat the market will bearā. On the other hand, he said he thought āIād be fine on my delivery rankā.
It...
My only Land Rover was a 1997 Defender. Never had a single problem the five years I owned it. Bought it new for $35k and sold it for $37k, thinking Iād done good. If I wanted to buy it back today, it would probably be north of $137K! So much for depreciation! I loved that vehicle. Very...
It looks like the 21MY will have the carpet on the seats based on the BroncoNation interview. āMaybeā future years will have a different solution. This really bums me out. I loved my ā97 Defender 90 for the pure rubber and vinyl interior. Easy to clean from beach to mountain. Carpet screws...
I used to have a 1997 Defender 90. Wish I hadnāt sold it, as prices are through the roof. Very fun and functional vehicle. Iāve reserved a Black Diamond stock, as itās the closest thing Iāve seen to that D90. The new version of the D90 is nice, but not nearly as utilitarian. The size and...
Iām a manual bigot, especially for performance cars. My 911 is a 2012 and the last one Iāll ever have because the new ones are too electronic & digitized. The manuals are just automatics with shifter leveSr! I got an automatic loaner once from the dealer and the thing was in fifth gear at 1500...
Thanks for the pics. I still like Area 51, but Iām getting my wife a Mach e in Infinite Blue. Iām hoping they are different enough or might have to opt for another color. I thought it would be lighter and more teal.
Iām curious why itās not an option. I live in SoCal, so have no need for the hard top and no where to store it. Even if I buy an aftermarket top, itās just an extra expense and Iād have to unload the hard top somehow. Not sure there will be much of a market for it initially.
