  1. Sleeping in the 4 Door Bronco?

I roll the same way. Definitely interested in your project when you get going on it. A 3" storage drawer in the back could be super useful too for all of the recovery gear and camping supplies while leveling the floor. My cooler and other stuff would sit right on top. During my Bronco test...
  2. Sleeping in the 4 Door Bronco?

Yeah. This is a must have feature for me. It's really great to know that it's going to work quite well. I recall a custom air mattress one of the aftermarket companies make for the Jeep that is shaped for the backend. I bet somebody does that for the Bronco soon. It would be nice if the air...
  3. Sleeping in the 4 Door Bronco?

lol ... nope. It works quite well, especially on Summer nights when it's hot. But I have 3" guard rails on the rear 1/3 of the roof rack where my head is so that keeps me from rolling off too easily. That'd be one of hell of a way to go in your sleeping bag tho. You'd hit like a sack of...
  4. Sleeping in the 4 Door Bronco?

I had a chance to see my first "real" Bronco today at San Tan Ford in Gilbert (Phoenix area). They had an Outer Banks and a Black Diamond on display. I own a decked out 2012 Rubicon unlimited on 35's and ordered the Badlands/Sas/10 spd auto/2.7l/ Lux/MIC top from Granger. I use the Rubicon to...
  5. Official MPG figures: 2021 Bronco 2.3L and 2.7L fuel economy

Exactly! I have a 2012 Rubicon unlimited with 35's (3.6l Pentastar V6). I get 15 MPG. I'm quite happy with the 17 MPG I'll get with my Badlands/SAS considering that I also get far more horsepower AND far more torque. What's not to like about that?
  6. Arizona roll call!

"In theory Earnhardt is converting mine today. So fed up with the local guys that if they don't actually convert mine by COB Monday, I'm just going to order one from Granger and have it shipped." I hear ya! The locals are lazy. I live in Mesa. I never got contacted by my original dealer...
  7. Jeep Owner - Bronco Contemplating

I own a manual 2012 Rubicon unlimited with 158K miles on it now. It's very heavily modified with a 2.5" lift, tuned suspension coils and shocks for the extra weight, 35" tires, aftermarket reinforced trackbars, drag link, tie rods to deal with the 35" tires and keep death wobble away, flat...
  8. A 2021 Bronco Sema build in development preview

If they're going to stuff 40's under those fenders they should take advantage of the easy modularity and make rad new fenders that look better with 40's
  9. VR 360 Degree Video Tour of Broncos

WOW! That's amazing. I also noticed that I could zoom in and out besides rotate around, which was useful to take a look at the bits under the vehicle.
  10. Custom Bronco Builds from RTR, ARB and 4 Wheel Parts Showcase Aftermarket Off-Road Parts & Accessories

I own a JK Rubicon on 35's geared to 4.88, and I agree. It makes a gigantic difference off road. I roll at 80mph on the freeway taching 3K, but off road I rarely have to go into 4WL. And when I do, that thing just crawls over anything. The shift points on the 10 speed auto could be all f'ed...
  11. Dealership appearance schedule and registering - find your local dealer [add your findings to first post!]

Thanks for that! I really couldn't find a local Phoenix area dealer that gave a crap about my Bronco order, so I went with Granger, but I'm excited to actually be able to see one locally.
  12. Interior of Bandlands...Options

Are you sure MGV has heated seats? I seem to recall a prior post here where the heated seats and electric seat positioning were removed from the MGV because they could not take the water from a washout.
  13. AZ Bois where ya at??

Awe crap. I registered at Robert Horne in AJ thinking that it would have less traffic. I now see that AJ has by far the highest sales tax! I need to switch dealers to San Tan or Earnhardt. That 2% difference is serious coin on a $50K+ vehicle. Can I do this now (or at all) or do I wait for...
