Nah. I had a local shop do the cutting, and I didn't sneak back there. The sounds were something though. I could hear all the GRRRAGHGHHGHGH from the waiting room.
That's an excellent idea. I want to pop the fender back off and have a look at what the possibilities may be in that same area. The main blocker is definitely that filler tube, but it looked like the other end of the reservoir would block the area where the snorkel meets the fender.
