Lots of comments, so hereās a few more. š
Yes, that tire is unfortunately done.
If this were my daughterās truck I would replace the tire with the exact same tire, donāt mix and match. I would also purchase the tire from Discount Tire and spring for the damage replacement warranty. Yes, itās...
I grew up in MN. Proper black ice will always win. Good tires, reduced speed and no change in vehicle dynamics are our only tools. Iāve never tried studded tires.
Man thatās allot of cheddar. Agreed with the comment above. Excellent concept, but the style and finish is a miss for my personal tastes.
Iād settle for a much, much, much lower bar. Just give me a fold down tailgate conversion that works with the current (crummy) hardtop. Ha ha ha.
I havenāt used these specific items from deepsleep or airbedz so take my comments with a grain of salt.
Iāve worked in product design, development & management in the outdoor market for over 25 years. Iāll also admit in advance that I personally dislike airbeds.
Look at it like this. One item...
I havenāt see this box in person, and itās $$$, but this one is dope. Itās side access is unique.

Thanks for your comments. Agreed, Iām not sold on the box + spare platform idea just yet, but it has merit.
Thanks, no need for additional pics. Iāve seen online pics of this box on a Raptor mounted to a spare tire platform rack.
cheers!
Howās the GearPOD box working out?
I am loosely considering mounting one of those to a spare tire platform. Iām not wild about extra weight on the gate but itās an intriguing idea. This box plus a platform would be an expensive experiment so Iām just in the research phase. Plus Iād only run the...
If I had my wish it would be a longer wheelbase 2Door built around Raptor suspension with better looking fenders & flares. (And a hard top that doesnāt suck)
That said its probably a lame cosmetic upgrade based on the Bronco Sport.
Thanks for this, I was curious where the rear breather ended. Where does the front line terminate?
I remember extending the lines on my Tacoma. Took about 10 minutes with 10 bucks in parts. Ha ha ha.
All depends on how deep you are willing to go in terms of modifications.
My recommendations for phase one Moab prep.
Tires: swap out the OEM, step up to a true to size 35 RT style tire. I strongly recommend the Kenda Klever RT for Moab + the highway miles to get there and back. Depends where...
Iām not sure if this question has been asked yet: Have you tried to mount a 4gallon RotoPax tank to the gullwing? Iām not sure if the mounting points would line up.
I donāt think my truck would fit in my garage with this top. However I was chatting with my neighbor today and I may be able to...
Old photo but in October I attended a wedding up in Silverton CO. Any chance I get, which is not often enough, I prefer to camp versus getting a hotel. I camped on the grass at the wedding venue.
2023 2D, mine is doing the same thing. Seat belt is pretty much effāed. I havenāt had a chance to bring it in. Plus I have a rear seat delete and a drawer system. So I need to pull the drawer system before the B-Pilar side panels can be accessed. Not hard but a PITA.
I had an 85ā and it was my favorite vehicle of all time. Unfortunately I didnāt own it very long. I slid off the road in winter, dropped off a 12ā retaining wall a rolled several times. Stupid 17 year old kid move.
Personally I still love the partial / front hard top and removable rear roof...
My top whistle more when itās super cold. I agree the internal cabin pressure (heat / AC blowing) does influence the leaks and noise. But my top leaks so much, and is generally inconsistent, that manipulation of the HVAC yields inconsistent results.
Hell, I have a 2012 2Door JK and its top is...
Just drove from CO to MN and back for some family business. Can confirm the Bronco signature LED headlights are prone to icing over in true MN style winter conditions.
Also, just for fun Iāll add this ancient proverbā¦.āNever trust a Minnesota ditch in winterā.
Ha ha ha. I pulled over at a...
