By September and then Ford responds before ordering in December.
By September (in August) makes much more sense than the recent Ford response. You've been able to price the Sport for a couple weeks already and it's not being built until late October.
Let's all hope it really is nlt than the...
What will Area 51 really look like? I ordered it on my Sport and I'm hoping it arrives before I have to order my BL Bronco. Just don't know about that color. I love this rendering though!
Let's see. It'll definitely be a Badlands but it could be a Wildtrak. 2.7l most likely. Maybe mid. 2dr or 4dr one of those for sure. Who knows what color.
Thanks for all those great pics!
Has anyone asked yet why the tailgate option is only on the 4 door? Is there a chance it could still be added or why not?
Just weird. Did an intern slap that together one morning? Those of us who have been in Broncos since the 60s never considered the jeep real competition and now we just have a new version that will best them too. Now old Bronco vs new Bronco. That would be interesting. We could never get our 68...
Not so much switching but based on what I saw it do in Moab and all the reviews after, I finalized my order for a Badlands Sport yesterday. That will be my daily driver and get me where I need to go in style, comfort and with very good mileage. However, I also have a Badlands Bronco reserved...
The biggest takeaway I got from that is the 2.7l made that look easy, especially once the line was a little better (more driver's right). Just about able to slow crawl that up. Pretty amazing at 45 degrees!! WOW!!
@dwfern
Can you ask about why the pull-out tailgate is only on the 4 door? Is it going to be offered on the 2 door and if not, what was their reasoning.
Thanks for doing this!
Thanks for the great review! I just finished my order for a Bronco Sport Badlands but I also have a deposit down on a Badlands Bronco. So maybe, just maybe, I'll get one of each. The sport for an all-around vehicle and the big bad Bronco for the rest!
Still not sure
I like the looks of both a lot. 4-door might look better with the 35s while the 33s on the Badlands looks like more than enough.
I do like the extra seat in the 4 door since I haul a lot of kids around. I also like that I can decide on the trail to take off the doors or roof...
Maybe I'm reading your response wrong but why would the Sasquatch package be anywhere near that amount on the Badlands. If I look at it right, it is about $6700 difference between the 2 models but the Wildtrak comes with the 2.7L Auto, Sasquatch, Cloth seats, mid package, dual zone climate...
And for me, all I really care about is that the Bronco can do all this bone stock from the factory! We never modded our '68 and I won't be modding this one. Jeep was no match for the old Bronco back in the day and it's looking like it won't be much of a match as an all-around off roader again...
That's what I'm excited about too. It's tackling all the things some were skeptical of first and then it'll move onto what others can't touch! Like Ford said, It's not going to be a one trick pony!!
