That would decrease break over angle, increase turning radius and require a longer driveshaft ($). Under bed spare tire would interfere with rear axle travel.
There's no easy compromise for spare tire location-
Under bed: longer rear overhang.
Tailgate: eliminates drop down operation for...
TFL Just out cruising around Colorado with no idea where or when a 6G Bronco might happen to be on the same road. The TFL driver had time to do a full selfie intro before the "pursuit," then follow at ~2 car lengths and then at the second light, stop on the shoulder at the light behind the...
Great color. But in keeping with with resurrecting a vehicle name that denotes rugedness, freedom and American Western culture, then giving it paint names that have more to do video games they'd have to call it Hyper Virescence or something like that.
I'm betting that Flares, Running Boards, Overlander Roof Racks etc will be available as aftermarket add-ons from Ford and others at or soon after launch, paint to order. I also think the November SEMA show in Las Vegas will be heavy with Bronco upfitter creations.
Neither is the Cyber Orange. The 2dr Cyber Orange looks like a matte finish, while the 4dr looks glossy; probably a rendering artifact. Can't relate to the video game color names, either.

I'm not getting any younger. I have been thinking that for my use, a 6 ft bed would be better suited like a Ranger Supercab. I don't need a lot of enclosed interior space, and I'd like to be able to carry my bike to trails and...
I would turn off the piped in engine noise if it's not part of a noise cancelling algorithm. If it is piped in at 180º out of phase with the real time engine noise, they cancel each other out and quiet the interior. If it's just there to massage my ego, I will turn it off permanently.
Seems...
You might be able to extend the lease for a year or more. I would talk to the dealer and see what could be worked out. That is of course assuming you would be ok with keeping the Explorer another year.
That's not quite how it works. Each dealer owns the vehicles on their lot; they are not factory consignment. No dealer is obligated swap a vehicle with another dealer. Usually, vehicles are traded among dealers at invoice, but for a high demand, limited supply vehicle the dealer owning such a...
