And no shortage of youtube videos out there...pretty common to see the van lifer's build their cabinet frames with it, and I actually did just that on a Transit van I built out a few years ago. Fully agree - I enjoy DIY-ing, but more time building means less time on the trails. I seriously considered the Goose Gear products, but the money saved by building it myself gets to go to other mods.

I haven’t seen a product on the market, so I fabricated my own. Made them out of ABS plastic. Haven’t tested them yet (coincidentally, I just made them yesterday), but I’m headed to Moab this week and can report back on how this solution works.

They are plenty wide for me on the front doors , I haven’t noticed any scuffs on the body. They do taper inward on the back doors…maybe if you had adults with big feet getting in and out of the back a lot if might be an issue? Not a concern for me. Overall, these have been great, no regrets...
