This thread is interesting... I love Austin but downtown is really something else now. Lady Bird Lake has homeless ppl and trash all up and down it. It isn't too dangerous, but I am sure bonding over homeless people doing drugs and screaming is less than ideal.
The city is centered...
I'm on the fence. I just another toy and am unsure if i can get rid of something in time to make room for the Bronco. I may cancel and that is one less person on the books!
I saw someone earlier posted a thread about purchasing a Tacoma. I think there will be quite a large number of...
That is my thought as well, though I am wondering if Ford ponies up some cash to build a few additional features tailored to the Bronco.
Also I read they will have cars out there already, so we will have to see if Ford lets you bring your own vehicle out on the 'Off-Roadeo' days.
100%. Not only braking but handling dynamics at speed cannot be safe.
Where I live the highways have frequent, long sweeping curves. Trucks and SUV's will be on my ass at 80mph but as soon as a curve hits they will drift out of their lane into the shoulder and are going 65mph.
We have the technical information and supposedly the 10 speed with Sasquatch package should keep sub 3K RPM at 80MPH.
I'd have to actually be going 80mph in one to believe it though. I feel like the height + tires + gaps in the body would make for a very unpleasant ride at speed.
Fellow Texans - I was Googling future places to take my Bronco and couldn't find a great repository of off road parks, trails, campsites, fireroads, mudpits, you get the idea. The only place around Austin I found was the Hidden Falls Adventure park, and every website I found looked like it was...
I love the idea of driving old cars, but after owning one I've decided I need a little more refinement... Also, and probably more importantly, I'm not too handy with a wrench :ROFLMAO:
