  1. Competition News: 2024 Jeep Wrangler Refresh ordering starts 3/15/23 with lots of changes, updates, upgrades

You speak the gospel of angels, my friend. This is the aftermarket top development that should be pursued by a serious player in the market. It would break down for shipping and offers the best of both the hard and soft top worlds.
  2. Mid-Year 2023 Bronco Pricing Increase Effective 3/15/23 (PL 335). Price Protection for orders before 3/15

Ha, I just ran the same on my Bronco. My 2021 order with PP was $4595 cheaper than today's B&P. $59,255 vs. $54,660. Ford is helping owners on the depreciation side by continually raising prices and inturn selling less units and making the used market more constrained.
  3. Flying to get a new Bronco

I have an email from 2 Weeks’s ago offering it to me at sticker. I think the big ADM days are gone.
  4. Flying to get a new Bronco

Congrats on the new wHip. You will love it. pSA. This beauty has been on the lot at my dealer too long. Someone please buy it. It’s too tempting. A silver with black steelies and manual. OMG, so freaking nice!!!
  5. Rock throwing - Raptor

Nice Rig. Drive it like you stole it! I'll admit, I was having too much fun and forgot I had the top down. Marine vinyl for the win!
  6. Rock throwing - Raptor

Get some sort of step set up that helps shield the body. It was my first mod based on feedback here and since I offroad this on gravel drives regularly. The Squatch 35" Goodyears were known rock throwers, I guess you are indicating that so are the Raptor tires.
  7. Watch this Bronco recovery and the damage the owner did to his Bronco

It sucks and some lessons are expensive. Content creators are always pushing it in the hopes of getting clicks. Throttle control would have reduced suspension compression through the bottom transition. Suspension needs time to catch up and he had a spotter to check the angle, and change the line...
  8. I'm Sorry I Have to Vent and Ford You Won't Like This...

Sorry, but My BMW 650CI frameless windows were equally janky. UNless you engineer a stout overhand, you have to do the tight fit auto retract. I actually with they just added more roof overhangs in the design. Even my mom's 90' Lebaron convertible had a decent window system with a heavy roof...
  9. AWE 0FG dual tip exhaust installed on 2.7 Bronco

Thanks. I really need to knock about half of the sound down with my next upgrade. I'm not worried about clearing anything since I don't rock crawl. The eastern shore of Maryland is flat and consists of mostly muddy trails, farm roads, and beaches (tough, I know). I wanted my Bronco to have a...
  10. AWE 0FG dual tip exhaust installed on 2.7 Bronco

Drone is markedly different in the soft top vs hard top comparison. I will change the Flow FX, but only after I find a Soft top reviewer give it a thumbs up. Hard top folks can run whatever. They won’t hear it. All these “no drone” reviews are from hard top owners. I’m deep down the Corsa...
  11. Which aftermarket exhaust sounds best?

Cause you have a hard top. Open your back window and drive around a bit, you will understand where us soft top folsk find this to be a polarizing exhaust. This list is 100% influenced by what top you are running. If you have a soft top, you absolutly need to be on the quieter end of the...
  12. Best sounding aftermarket exhaust for 2.7L ?

The item that is not discussed often enough in these "sounds great" threads is whether it's installed on a soft top or hard top Bronco. If you own a soft top, many of these can be annoying. You've been warned.
  13. 2.7L Exhaust shootout

Ok after many months of back and forth on pulling out the FlowFX, this past weekend did me in. I have the wondows out from some nice weather and It's just too annoying now. Do you have the part number for this resonator (3" or 2.5"). I just gotta quiet this thing down some. It too harsh nd...
  14. Why didn't Ford integrate the keypad into pillar?

I just got my keypad and was planning the same thing. I was hoping to wrok With Mabett or Broaddict to get a new puller fiber plastic made that they could shift to production. In raw black is actually matches the puller trim nicely. I was hopping to integrate it better. If you figure out the...
  15. 2023 Jeep gets washout floors and MGV

I’ve owned many boats. I’ve even done a few of my own upholstery jobs on exterior cushions. This “MGV” is thinner than any boat I’ve ever had. I’m gonna go with, nope. I mean it definitely feels nice, cause a boat interior grade vinyl would absolutely suck for daily use.
  16. New Ford Dyna Gray Bronco Rims bought and installed for Badlands!

Perfect match to the MIC top. Well done.
  17. Top-off / topless etiquette and best practices

Ford actually put a lot of thought into this part. The dash is mostly waterproof (cheap plastic), its why the speaker replacement sucks so badly so they could tuck it under the windshield rake. I'm not sure where there are so many non-draining pockets on the dash? Us Soft top folks run around...
  18. Top-off / topless etiquette and best practices

I bought the knockoff one from Amazon and I was quite impressed for anyone who hasn't pulled the trigger yet. It's a nice setup that Ford came up with and was easily knocked off by several companies. I wouldn’t put and an ounce of gold in there, but a few odds and ends like a radar detector and...
  19. Issues After My Latest Update

Did you do a firmware update on the phone as well. As an Apple user, when the truck updates, I immediately download the latest firmware for iOS and then let that complete, then reboot the phone. It usually takes a drive cycle or two to get everything back on the same planet. The software updates...
  20. Damaged In-transit

FOB is used in almost all (well written) procurement contracts to determine where ownership transfers. I’ve received many heavy loads FOB final pad. Not only is the seller responsible for shipping (and associated permitting) they are also responsible for offloading (crane in my case) when moving...
