I am overthinking this. I have a wife who’s not happy with me as I read 37” work itch the JKS kit. They do but… not if you go Offroad, or with the Wildpeak at4’s which are likely larger than some other 37”.
Grr
@Dusty at ICON,
You mentioned with the Billet you can run stock Sas wheels, but not with 37” tires? So factory tires work but not 37”. Does the tire diameter make a difference?
What's the best way to fix this = with a Diff drop? Broken Innovations - any others?
I assume with the rear if you lift you should also change the traction bar Rear Trac Bar relocation
With that said to fit 37's and maintain driveline as close to factory as you can - and keep it within a...
It looks like Icon now has a kit. They call it 3” but when you dive into it I believe it’s closer to 1 3/4”
ICON ALLOYS 2021-2023 FORD BRONCO 3" COILOVER SPACER KIT
I like that these are billet vs glass-fiber reinforced nylon resin of the zone. But then they cost more.
I’ve definitely been over complicating this so thanks for bringing me down a level.
with that said I have what I hope is one last question or two.
In reading more about this only going up an inch to accommodate the tires will have limited impact on CV angles and whatnot. Would this leveling kit...
With that said an optimal upgrade in your opinion would be a diff drop, spacer lift (or would you recommend spring spacers?) I’m mostly rock crawling but like to have some higher speed runs. In addition upgraded coils makes sense as yes these are heavy tires. For upgraded coils would the...
I completely value your input and read thru your 14 page thread :-). When you say spacer your referring to the 2” zone lift, not wheel spacer correct? The chart you provided shows strut spacer. I don’t want to bump the wheel/tire out if I can get away with the factory wheels 30mm offset.
for...
Instead of a Leveling kit would the Bilstein 8112 also work? I know it’s a Completely different direction - just looking at options. I am still torn on the level kit and it causing a lose of wheel travel.
@Bradley Thornton - I agree with the simple and clean look :)
I have 37” x 12.5 x 17 wheels and run at 30-31psi. Note these are beadlock so the width of the fire is spread out as it sits on the outside of the factory wheel. While initially wheeling I was at 30-31 but went thru mud. It rubbed...
It’s not the fender liners but the paint on the fender that’s rubbing. Wheel spacers wouldn’t make a difference I don’t believe. Here’s another photo with the SAS fenders removed.
Note near the rectangle with dirt in it you will see how the paint is removed from the fender. This is where it’s...
In addition I did upgrade the steering rack to the heavy duty rack and I do have a lobo hidden winch upfront as that will likely make a difference given weight.
I have a 4-door First Editon and recently installed 37” Wildpeak AT4’s on factory SAS wheels on real beadlocks with the JKS kit. I went off-roading this weekend and the front tires are rubbing on the inner portion of the fenders - see picture. I’m trying to remedy this so I can go off-roading...
That’s one of my biggest pet peeves, that cross bar that hangs down. Great job.
any thoughts on making more of these? :) Or do you have the dimensions/file to replicate?
I have the factory intercooler from my 2.7L First Edition (not that the model matters) which I am getting rid of. If you have interest in this please let me know - otherwise it will go to the landfill.
I upgraded to a Mishimoto and HNT winch skid plate, so replaced the factory. It worked as...
