Sorry Fordboi - I let you down...
Gamecock & Fordboi - I recommend you remove my quote of the old incorrect information so we don't accidentally confuse more people.
You are correct and I was wrong - I appreciate you persistence and I will update my posts to correct this information.
Sorry Fordboi - I wanted to be right but no matter how much I wanted to I could not be :ROFLMAO:
Refer to post 1 AND ITS SOURCES. Even I made a mistake here.
The 4.70:1 Ring and pinion is STANDARD for both the 2.3L, and Sasquatch, but NOT with the Automatic.
I will update Post #1 to reflect this more accurately.
I do not have the knowledge to answer that question with certainty but I would not make your assumption.
My assumption would be that a "High Clearance Suspension" is required to adequately clear 35" tires, and therefore, it would be DIFFERENT hardware from the stock Badlands.
I think you're assessment is right on. For me, it comes down to the 1) final add-on price of the Squatch package and 2) how much my wife feels comfortable driving a manual offroad (she already is an awesome manual driver)
Badlands MSRP = $44,590
Wildtrack MSRP = $48,875
If I assume that...
I hope I can help bring some clarity and simplicity to a common question.
It bugs me when I see the same old "what does Sasquatch get me that Badlands doesn't already have" question followed by lazy, partial, or just plain wrong answers. Here is the answer as simple as I can make it...
Do you have any concern with extending the payments out to 72 months?
I.E., generally what I understand is that any payment terms over 60 months put you at serious risk of going upside-down on the vehicles value. I personally would prefer to be at the 48-60 month range.
