So for people that wheel hard, we don't recommend powdercoating as they are definitely going to get hit eventually. You'll want to either spray paint or bedline them before installation though. Then you can just touch them up as needed easily.

Yes, they will. There is about a 1/4" of space between the shock eyelet and the top of the skid plate.
