Mine was broken into a year or so ago. I went the insurance route, as after inspection, the paint on the door had been damaged too. So that had to get repainted. Fuck thieves
I wanted to share my post-install thoughts. First off, Todd was great about any questions I had. I sent them an email and he called me pretty much right away to trouble shoot with me.
There’s a tiny gap at the bottom near the passenger C pillar, but they’re going to overnight a trim piece they...
Will do - I unbolted it for now and am going to reseat it later this afternoon once weather here clears up. If I still don't have it right I'll send over some pictures.
I got my hard top in today and put the back on. I’ve got a couple of questions in terms of
fit, etc. it’s hard to tell from the first picture but that’s from the outside right behind the turn badge. I added a second pic pointing to about where the hole is.
The light part you see in the first...
I've got the tracking number and the company, so I may have to reach out.
Gotcha, hopefully that's the case for me as well. Was it Estes Express Lines that yours was shipped with?
Just got my shipment notification today! The email says 5/27 but I don't think that'll hold considering Monday is a holiday.
For those that received their tops, did the initial shipment company hand it off to another for local delivery? And did you get a call ahead of time or something else...
Good to hear! Hopefully I hear back today so I can start planning around the estimated delivery. My work schedule varies week to week, so that's one reason my for anxiety, hah.
Hahaha, thankfully I never ordered from them, but I have been following the whole ordeal since the beginning.
The last update I got yesterday was that my top was at the shop waiting for the freight company to pick it up. My lack of patience is starting to set in, haha. Just waiting for the email to let me know it shipped and the tracking information.
I’d have to double check my email, but when I paid a week or two ago I think they said they’re currently out to December, but that’s before the additional molds.
Yup, those. Landing plates is what they referred to them as in the install video. Gotcha, I was curious since the OEM ones are larger than what is shown in TOR's video.
For those that have their top already, did you use the landing plates that your Bronco already had, or used TOR's supplied landing plates? I'm curious if either one makes a difference in fit.
It wasn't free for me but it was at least $300 cheaper than what ADV was quoting at the start of their whole debacle. TOR was about $500 to the Houston area for me.
