  1. Remote start seat heat?

And to confirm, the steering wheel doesnt heat either? What is the outdoor temperature at the moment of testing? From day 1 my heated steering wheel and seats were set to "Cook the passenger" mode during remote startup. Odd.
  2. Don't know why this café has large steel cutouts on it, but it had Sasquatches for some reason, photo opp!

I bet that is how the Sport feels next to the Bronco, jk. I respect what the Sport is, it just isnt for me and I wish it wasnt called Bronco Sport confusing the market a bit.
  3. Remote start seat heat?

In previous vehicles like my Flex, it would not enable the function of heated seats UNLESS it was set to Auto climate controls. I always use Auto, and my seats are on high heat when I get in (or the last heat setting I had them at), when I use the auto remote start. That might be your issue if...
  4. Don't know why this café has large steel cutouts on it, but it had Sasquatches for some reason, photo opp!

Was driving through small town USA here in TX for Christmas day and I was crossing an intersection when almost 1/3 the way through with absolutely no traffic anywhere I saw a family of Sasquatch steel cutouts randomly sprawled on the fencing enclosure of a café coffee shop. It was a very random...
  5. Wildtrak and OBX SAS buyers help me decide

I think in pictures I wasnt so keen on the WT leather color options, but in person I do like the tan leather after all and the blue accents grew on me. I have never seen the WT cloth version, but I didnt think I would like that either. Maybe someone has one I may see in person one day and...
  6. Wildtrak and OBX SAS buyers help me decide

For me, I went WT because by default it was going to have everything I was going to option in it otherwise. I wasnt a fan of the painted fenders or body color mirrors personally, and initially it was also going to have the painted top versus the MIC, which I guess was going to be nice too for...
  7. Jeep introduces bigger screens, 4.88 axles, 100:1 crawl

See, Jeep owners should be very happy with the existence of the Bronco.
  8. Wildtrak and OBX SAS buyers help me decide

It already sounds like you made your decision, what is there to discuss?
  9. RV camping Texas

Have to agree though, normally the parking lot is full or slightly overflowing, not that it is a huge parking lot, but there just isnt any room in the lot there. Nearby sure, but not in the main lot. There is a hotel not but a few miles before you reach the ranch, could possibly inquire to...
  10. 2.3L Bronco drag races vs. Jeep Wrangler V6 and 2.0T

About what I expected, but yeah, the tire size difference likely had something to do with the results a little. Very close on the turbo 4s. Would be a driver race at that point.
  11. Blksn955.o DIY inflator setup (4 tire air up / air down system)

You wouldnt think this would be necessary assuming you are talking about the Bronco. I mean having the backup gauge mechanical type would be for when the batteries happened to be dead, but the Bronco already has the tpms sensors on each wheel and you can use the Ford app to see the pressure...
  12. Heated Steering Wheel

Definitely doesnt get hot, but I am fine with it, the seats are another matter, they get damn toasty. I have never been a huge heated steering wheel guy and so take that for what it is. I guess if I didnt live in TX I would probably care more.
  13. I can't believe I'm here, never even considered owning a Ford.

Welcome, and glad to have you. Takes all kinds and glad you have an open mind to other platforms, many do not.
  14. The reason Bronco “Raptor” won out over "Warthog"

Ah to use the line, "You see those tow hooks, they sort look like tusks, and what other animal do we know has tusks?" That would have been epic, but otherwise, like many have mentioned, meh, dont care what they call it. Though I can see arguments for both using either name. I do agree with...

Yeah, I added the eliminator, works great and only took like 20 minutes if that to install while managing to not scratch any trim pieces. I have a WT so sport mode is already on there and it is quite nice and peppy over normal mode.
  16. "Matching" custom overlanding trailer for my 2021 Race Red Wildtrak

Thank you everyone, yeah, looking forward to some changes to the tires and possibly wheels. Part of me would like to match the wheels and part of me wants to leave the wheels matching the trailer intent and just throw some 35s on it. Time will tell. Hopefully have it up in Moab for Xmas or...
  17. 🛠 10/25/21 Build Week Group

I know I mentioned to a few this update was coming, but from a fellow 10/25 build week person, if you want to see the latest update on the matching trailer, have a read. Sorry so long, but it is a story... Or just skim the pictures... You will get the gist of it...
  18. "Matching" custom overlanding trailer for my 2021 Race Red Wildtrak

I know I had mentioned this before to some on the forum here and been excited to try out, but yesterday I finally got to try out my custom-built trailer. I built this trailer a few years ago when I was still in New Zealand. I live in both countries at times (my wife is from NZ). Anyways, some...
  19. Sasquatch....hitch drop required?

So the answer to this is it depends. Mainly on your trailer hitch connection itself. In my case, using the 2 inch drop I already had from my previous towing, it was not enough to clear the tire with the locking mechanism I have on my specific coupler. But most should clear with a 2 inch drop...
