IMO the 17" is the tried and true option. Several tire and wheel options to choose from. The 18" and higher sizes look good as well, but option can be limited. Starting gain more popularity though!
I feel your pain! Has happened to me on several occasions.
Tire sidewall are the most "fragile" part of the tire and are susceptible to all kinds of damage with seemingly minor impacts.
The KO 2 does have more impact resistance than some other tires out there so it is always an option...

Correct. There are 3 different part numbers. 2 are Jeep fitments and one is the Ford fitment. The tire you are looking for is Bridgestone part # 009901. They are available to order.
