They replace the 2 forward bolts (one on each side), which are accessed once you remove the 2 smaller hardtop panels above driver and passenger. Hope that helps.

You are not the first person to ask. Clear anodize could be an option but not sure it will look that great. I will check with my anodizing supplier to see what the options are.

Lol, this has been asked before! Sadly no. I have found I can get them pretty close, but if you don't snug them down tightly there is a risk of rattling loose on the trail. Maybe we should work on a washer spacer kit for those of us who are "particular"!
