21 miles. My dealer had photographed the odometer on delivery from the transporter. Had to do a mileage update for registration because I added a few more miles.
It really just depends. If it goes by rails they seem to have more miles from the behind the scenes shuffling
4dr Badlands 7 spd stock 33" KO2s
Fuelly history for the 4600 miles I've tracked is 18 mpg
Dash says 18.9 mpg over the 7500 mile life
Dash has sometimes been 2+ mpg optimistic. Said I got 18.5 mpg on time when hand calc says 16. But most times it's with 1 mpg.
I use one of those waterproof pet hammock type seat cover across the entire back seat. Keeps my 115lb chonk from falling into the gap, not sure if it can support 200lbs. It has come in handy recently, as the 2 weeks+ of "4th of July" fireworks from 7 am to 2 am causes my dog stress colitis...
It's happens to me occasionally when making full lock turns. I thought I was crazy the first couple times and then I started paying attention after this thread. Definitely not bumping the stalk. Also noticed if you do bump the stalk a little but not enough to go into the detent, it will still...
I'm going to just leave this right here. They say faulty clutch... So in just 3 miles it just went to not moving anymore because it got hot enough to blue steel and exploding the friction material with zero absolutely glaring indicators?!?!
I call shenanigans.
The picture isn't great but the splines look blue to me. I've never heard to smoking a clutch killings a transmission but there's a first time for everything and I would call that transmission toast. At the minimum I certainly wouldn't warranty any future work on that transmission.
I had a gen 2 Tacoma, so not a apples to apples comparison, but the 2.3l & 7 speed blows it out of the water.
Only regret I have, which is mirrored by others, the Bronco is not a truck. I couldn't keep both for space reasons.
If Ford made a Badlands spec Ranger with the 7 speed....
I still agree. Slight color variation among panels and snake skin doesn't bother me, I didn't buy a Lambo. The splitting, which is structural, does.
The other people with huge globs and warps are unacceptable. Should have never left the factory, Hellen Keller can see those defects.
Just wait until they figure out how to pilfer all the copper in EVs.
Hello from station 31 🙃
They got me a couple months ago. I moved my Bronco for the cable guy and in my rush I forgot to hit lock. I shit you not 10 minutes later dude walks up my driveway and steals my parking card and a...
Also sparks/arcing won't set off fuel if it's submerged (see submerged fuel pumps). Once the magic A/F ration is met... that's a different story
I'm honestly surprise I haven't heard of it more in CA. A few years ago when gas was close to $5/gal it was happening all the time. I think they moved...
Unless you just did a REALLY hard pull, there's no need to idle before shutting down. Water is still circulating after shutdown due to convection. The water/coolant would need to boiling off to coke the oil.
Use a good oil and change it. Don't do the extended oil change intervals. Part of...
Same mileage as my Tacoma with twice the power, so no. Also changed jobs since taking delivery, my commute is now about 20 feet. But the Bronco has also taken over as the primary around town vehicle, so total monthly mileage is a wash from when I did commute.
You know what? I was thinking in the last week mine hasn't been doing the ASS lately either. Not sure if it's because I rarely commute anywhere anymore and I'm not getting enough "hot time" on the engine or if there was an update? I know it's not the usual criteria that's restricting it from...
For the creaking/squeaking/popping noises you can either sleeve the location pins or use a Q-tip and put a dab of lube on them. I just used a food safe silicone lube I had. Went from snap, crackle, pop over every bump to zero squeaks in the last 6 months over multiple trails.
