Since you apparently reside in FL, allow me to share another view that you may never see....
However, I may not ever see Frank on a white sand beach, either.;)
The beauty (which is in the eyes of the beholder) of EG is that it is not the same color every monotonous day. It changes with your mood. On a sunny day, it glows.
On dreary, cloudy days, it is darker.
As far as cleaning...I am rather OCD. I applied a semi ceramic finish within days of...
The wife and my two sisters went glamping for a weekend in my 2DR, and had plenty of room for all the things women take for a weekend. Yes, one seat was down for extra storage, and I have a modular platform built to haul things more efficiently. But he was packed to the ceiling.
One thing no...
Sorry, bad writing on my part. I lost the nut on the top side, not the bottom. It was not lost in the fenderwell, but inside the hood! You either get lucky with the magnet, you listen to the rattle, or you remove the hood and shake it out of one of the holes. I got lucky with the magnet...
Where was your friendly rag advice about 6 months ago when I let the nut slip out of my fingers, and then spent 3 hours with the flex magnet trying to fish it out from the inner black hole of the hood🤬🤬
Cause that rattle would have driven me bat crap crazy in a matter of weeks.
Don't remember...
Since the first 4 letters of my family last name start BIER, My biased opinion is a resounding yes, it counts. Any feedback on the quality of their biers?
Well done. Well done.
Which part of the land o' lakes do you usually occupy? I would enjoy running into you some day and getting a closer look.
Any chance you have located some tan houndstooth seat covers to add nostalgia to the interior?
Enjoy the remainder of our "unsually dry perfect for...
I have had 3 or 4 "false alarms" with the Bronco telling me the hood was open or partially open, and I should immediately correct the problem. Twice, while driving down the freeway. Knowing that the hood was NOT open, I ignored the warning beeps and light, and they went away in a few moments...
I spent my entire youth living in the Cuyuna Iron range, which is south of the Gilbert area, and can attest to the challenges of getting the "Iron Ore" off your cars. (Parents always knew when you were somewhere you shouldn't have been:censored:) Just wondering if you were able to get all that...
Not adjustable. Yes, those adjustable types are very convenient if you regularly pull trailers with varying tongue height. My trailers will use the same drop, so isn't needed in my situation.
I only plan to occasionally tow a small utility trailer to the compost site, and it's only a 6 mile round trip. I bought a Harbor Freight 6" drop for $25. If I was towing heavier or more often, then I would have spent more money for higher quality.
Like many others, I removed the factory tow hitch and wiring from my build to expedite the process. (It Still took 11 months). Anyway, I ordered a hitch and wiring kit from an on-line company. Hitch was a half of a beer project. But I was skeptical of tackling the wiring. Living in MN, with...
Like many of you, sold the Mustang to make room for the Bronco. Only thing I miss about the Mustang is the rumble of the V8. (And the 5 spd.) No amount of money can make a turbo V6 sound as good as a V8. Loving the Bronco.
Great minds think alike. Although, I do not plan to do anything to piss of the wife and get kicked out of the house and need to sleep in my Bronco.
I was going to hinge the front sections to fold back, but the roll bar and speakers got in the way, unless you z fold, which started to make things...
Three pages in, and no one has said this? Too easy? Wife's first words....
Pavement Princess.
(BTW, she has repped MK for years, and would have loved this as a company car.)
So many options, some fun and creative, others felt like we are trying too hard. IMO, the name needs to just be organic, or just feel right. The wife wanted Emerelda, since the EG at times has some emerald undertones. But the bronco couldn't have a "feminine" name, so I kept thinking. One...
