I got no where else to be. I got a car, it works, its fine, Im saving money the longer I wait. plus Im working from home anyway, so Im putting about 40miles a year on my car as it stands. I dont need a new car yet. the delay was sort of convenient.
if nothing else, seems like the seats would pool with water, no clear path for the water to escape.
I wouldnt want to get it wet over and over personally. I think it would inevitably develop some mildew in creases that stay wet.
I doubt that... testing a vehicle for leaks takes a long time.
the design is tested over and over, and then the assumption is that the production units will behave similarly.
they might take a few random samples to verify every now and then.
either the parts are so out of spec that seals...
starting a car without a key is no small feat...
if they get to your keys somehow, thats another story.
your average car thief will just nab the cat or rims, the rest is a liability.
If your a serious car theft ring, you can drag it onto a flatbed.
legally, you cannot build a model year past Dec 31st of the named year.
it feeds into cafe regulations, the targets are based on model year, so they dont let you build past december, as thats the final day to qualify for the prior year targets.
I tend to agree with you that they shouldnt take...
I love the look of it, but I cant quite stomach the idea that it doesnt fold all the way back.
The soft top is the summer top for me, and Im most concerned with how easy it is to go full convertible. If all I wanted to do was to get an open sunroof, Id just get mic year round and leave the...
only possible answer is to eliminate hard top option on all series, even first edition, and let you decide to wait, or not.
see... Id be perfectly happy ordering a soft top, if I knew how much a hard top was going to cost me, when a hard top is available.
Ill wait to see 1.2million sell. I think the investment banks place boatloads of reservations to prop up the stock.
I think they will eventually sell 1.2million, Im just dubious that there are really 1.2million orders anxiously waiting to place their order.
very good to know, thats something I can easily fix with a dremel or grinder. just trim the screw down.
I already have the table... missing the bronco.
looks good, but I was under the impression the rub concerns might only present when the suspension is flexed. Which might be irrelevent if your only driving on pavement (like me). but still curious if you tested this with a tire up on a curb or something.
I suspect the journalist was more trying to evaluate the experience, whether or not he NEEDED to charge, he wanted to try and charge. his experience could be just as valid if it were someone taking that route as part of a longer trip, or a round trip, or who set off with less than 100% charge...
well I believe this patent sharing was a 2 way street, if you used their patents, you had to let them use yours.
needless to say, the older OEMs have a very very big patent library, and didnt see that as a worthwhile trade.
Im ok if a bad top is replaced under warranty.
but hell no am I going to spend 3k of my own money to buy an aftermarket hard top to replace a hard top. Thats a absurd thing to even suggest. If you really believed that, you'd get the soft top and buy the hard top later.
The complete void of...
