They are cheap enough right now it's not a big deal if something goes wrong. One coilover box was ProComp and the other 4WP. Can't recall which was which, but I figured ProComp would likely be available if needed in the future.
I got the 37's put on last week, so I've only had a handful of drives so far. I am actually pretty pleased with the amount of power/speed this little truck still has. It's a touch slower in 2nd gear, but it's not unbearable like I had feared it would be. These Toyo MTs are very heavy, but...
We did the install last week. I have only had a couple of days seat time with the 4WP UCAs, Coilovers, and rear trac bar, but I must admit I am fairly pleased.
Haven't been offroad, but on the street here is what I noticed:
Ride compliance on small bumps in the road is about 10% more stiff...
Thanks for the info. I'll probably get the BORA spacers custom made so I can actually get a 3.25" spacer.
Which LT kit are you going with? (sorry if I missed that somewhere up in the thread).
Good looking wheel. So are you still running 2" wheel spacers with this wheel set up and the 8" ADV Fiberglass? Trying to figure out how big of a spacer I will need to run the 8" ADV glass without too much poke, but enough that the tires aren't engulfed by the new glass too much. Yours looks...
I have a set of Wildtrak shocks/springs that we took off when we installed a Fabtech kit on one last year. The factory shocks might have 100 miles on them. I'll try and get part numbers for them and list them for sale in the marketplace if anyone is interested. Or, if anyone reading this...
We will be installing these on a 2-door base SAS this coming week. Should have a review in a few weeks after some seat time in it. Pleased to hear @tdhyden79 likes them on his rig. I'm hoping it's an economical lift option that still rides at least as good as the Bilstein suspension from the...
I've run STT Pros in 37" on a Jeep Cherokee before, and they are a pretty good tire. Definitely cool looking, and certainly an option to consider. I know the Toyos are heavy pigs, but since I already have a brand new one on hand it makes it nice to only have to buy 4 tires instead of 5...
Thanks everyone. That's great feedback. Makes me feel a little better about going to 37s. Guess I'll just go ahead and go big if I am going to do it. Having one tire on hand already makes it an easier decision as well.
I'm not very concerned about gas mileage since this is just a fun...
Thinking about running some 37s on a 2-door Sas with the 2.3L and manual transmission. Looking for feedback on how noticeable the power loss is from those that have run that set up. The truck on 35" Toyo MT is accpetable in terms of get up and go (passing power is decent, and getting on the...
Is anyone running these on a Sasquatch, and if so, do you get any additional lift height? Trying to figure out if a set of these coilovers front and rear, the UCAs and the rear track bar would allow for 37s on a Base Sasquatch 2-door on a 17x9, +0 wheel.
My installer bolted a JL 12" truck box to my back door, and it sounds great. Model of the enclosure/sub is CS112LG-TW3. Fits on the back door like the MTI box does, although admittedly it's not quite a clean looking at the MTI box. Puts out plenty of bass, and I thought it was a pretty good...
Not sure where to post this, but I wanted to give a shout out to @2door on this forum. I recently purchased a used Sunrider top from him, and it was damaged in transit. He had included insurance on the shipping, but UPS did everything they could to not pay for the damage.
@2door was an...
Well, it turned out great. Really nice job on it. I'd be hesitant to grind off the seat studs. I assume they will no longer work for holding the seats in place? Or is there enough left of them to still get the nut on there and hold the seat down? Looks like the cardboard that was on the...
That turned out awesome! Where did you get the sea deck cut into the bronco logo? Any details on how you built, or did you pretty much follow the build you posted the link of? How is the sea deck in terms of holding dog fur? I'd be concerned it would be a pain to clean, but maybe it's not...
