It's just drum brakes that are manually engaged by the hand lever. Very simple. I would use it at camp if I disconnect by Bronco to keep the trailer from rolling. As far as I know it does nothing while trailering.
Thanks. Yeah I was looking around and couldn't find anything near me under $1000 in military surplus shape. I saw a guy selling some decent looking unrestored ones for $800 but it was several hours away.
LOL, I have a master's degree in History. Last year I was filmed and interviewed for a German documentary about the German American Bund. It's supposed to be released on Netflix next year hopefully.
Thanks. Yeah but the roof rack has multiple attachment points which probably spreads the load. I'm not sure how to figure out the limit if I'm only using the front points. I failed math lol.

There was a thread last year about this when I got my Badlands lux package. It does time out. You might have to lock the doors. I had the top and doors off last week and needed to get in my garage and the visor wouldn't work.
Interesting. My understanding was that a regular Torx bit would fit in a Torx plus screw but a Torx Plus bit would not fit in a regular screw.
Regardless I'm not a fan of these particular bolts. They are very soft. To charge $10 each is outright theft. They're not worth .50 cents.
