The NHTSA site used to redirect correctly to a 2dr and 4dr variant. At some point over the past month or so, they changed the redirect URL (depending on how you get to it) for both to https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2021/FORD/BRONCO/SUV/4WD which gives you an error.
I now use...
I think Crutchfield is being very conservative with their depth measurement for both the dash and the roll bar, and I wish we knew how they were measuring it and why it appears off.
If you look at the "will it fit" measurements for the Roll bar, they measure the depth at 1.795
For the dash...
there was a time when Insurance companies would give a pretty decent reduction if window etching was in place. And here in NJ every little bit counted! Not sure if itās still a thing though.
I personally think, and maybe I'm simplifying it, the biggest issue is that folks can misinterpret an order agreement (e.g. a priced DORA - Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgement) from a purchase agreement. The dealers seem to literally be banking on this to happen - they will play games like...
It seems that the depth measurement they are working with is flagging this (and many others) as "does not fit." I'm not sure where they get the measurements from.
But if you look at something that is listed as "fits" you see:
NHTSA API is showing Safety Recall 21S52 for Cruise Control Module Alignment.
Summary
"Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021 Ranger and Bronco vehicles. The cruise control radar module was misaligned during production."
Consequence
"A misaligned radar module may prevent the...
Just found this after playing with it some more:
https://api.nhtsa.gov/vehicles/byYmmt?offset=0&max=100&sort=id&make=Ford&model=Bronco&modelYear=2021&detail=details
Will return everything (max=100 in the URL) on the NHTSA site so far for the two Bronco variants (2dr and 4dr) but I'm not sure...
same here. I chalk it up to the area Iām in (central Jersey) and that fact that no one really knows what they are outside of enthusiasts. My mother in law thought it was a Jeep but Iāll cut her slack cuz sheās 91.

I think you can have an agreement separate from a contract - it's a nuance for sure, but if you move to legal procedure you can be sure things like this will come up. I think it's a reasonable assumption to make that an agreement was made to order a vehicle with these options and agreed to. I...
Unless you are referring to something I missed, my understanding is the price protection was for folks bumped to MY22, not locked in prices with dealers, who, depending on how they want to run their business, have some "flexibility" to screw folks at their whim.
I'm not sure this is provable if you only have verbal agreement, especially if the management team is going to side with their rep vs their customer, which to begin with is BS. Unfortunately, ADM isn't going away as long as the market supports it. It sucks for sure and I'm sorry this is...
I just received last week my 2DR OBX in AMB with Lux and roof rails and a 2.7. So a lot of the deadly sins. Yeah itās an odd duck but itās my odd duck!
I'm not actually convinced that word "primer" is being used the way we think it is. If you look at the Manufacturer Communication Number: 21B49 from Sept 30 on the NHTSA site (https://www.nhtsa.gov/vehicle/2021/FORD/BRONCO%25202DR/SUV/4WD#manufacturerCommunications) you will see the...
