We specifically recorded the dyno run of our Bronco on our own Mustang dyno. The Charts that are attached in this thread are 100% legit and from the Bronco. The ones we posted on the Ranger forum were not to deceive anyone but to show the benefits installing these products on an Ecoboost engine...
My apologies, what i meant is there will be even better gains with any other tune than the factory OEM one. So the FP tune should definitely provide even greater gains.
Ford really underrated these 2.3 engines, they make really great power and the low end torque makes it extremely easy to drive manual (especially in traffic). We did tons of baseline pulls before throwing on the parts to make sure the numbers we got were consistent.
The gains would actually be even greater with any other tune than the OEM one. This was with 100% bone stock vehicle, no intake or bolts parts. We wanted to get the most accurate results without any other mods skewing our numbers.
It is something we still have to do, the installation is very simple there is a good amount of room in the engine bay and both the IM and TB Spacers fit perfectly with no issues.
Thank you, that was not a type but not applicable to the Bronce and it has been fixed. We have our own Mustang Dynometer that is sound proof and stays temperature neutral. This allows us to consistently get reliable results. We are definitely looking into the 2.7 V6 as well!
