I was told the same thing earlier today. I think they're saying it because of current and a few projected constraints. History also tells a story about expecting delays and long waits.

Nice build. Color and tow (DIO) are pretty much the only differences from my build. My wife and I really like the grey, but I just got out of a monotone black truck and wanted some color in my life, so against my wife's taste, I went with the HPR. Hope your wait is short and you get your new...

I'm ready for a wait...but hopefully with all the changes that everyone's whining about (reduced number of options, Tow is now DIO, etc) will help speed production up. The longer the wait, though, the more money I'm able to save for a sizeable deposit.

Looking at my time stamps, it happens pretty damn quick....as in within a few minutes.

EDIT: Yes, I got the confirmation from Ford last night at 1759 EDT. I somehow missed the email in my excitement to sign and send the order form to my dealer. Not from Ford. Just this from the dealer (had to sign and send back to them). But they couldn't even get this far without the order...

I don't know about your build, but when I compared similar builds that I was looking at betwen 23 and 24, they came out about the same price, if not a tad cheaper. HPR Badlands, 2.7L, Sasquatch, Tow, Lux, MIC Hardtop, MVG seats, Modular bumper (now included). Still more $$ than a 21 or 22...

My relatively loaded Badlands build that I wanted is just about the same if not a couple hundred cheaper now than in MY23. 4D Badlands (HPR), 2.7L, Squatch, Lux, Tow, Hardtop, MGV, Mod Bumper (now standard). Still comes in shy of $68K. I know that's still more $$ than in 21 and 22, but I...
