I want these but they'd have to be shipped. I used to do that using GPX but they shut down during the pandemic. This is perfect for my OBX getting some Bilstein love this week.
@Sandbergo I applaud your patience. But I also have doubts.
Look, from the very beginning of this post I have said it was my experience, yours may be better. Over and over again. I didn't write a post about your experience, I wrote one about mine. I am thrilled you had a good experience...
And I said your experience may differ..... so thanks for your inout.
Regardless I have moved on, the truth is I tried to get away cheap (someone had mentioned that earlier in the post, commenting on the cost) These aren't very differently priced from OEM, or even the Weathertech ones. so I...
I was unable to find them there, but where I bough them doesn't negate their poor product and less than amazing customer service.
It seems that there are a bunch of folks defending Mabett, and thats cool, I said your experience may differ, but this was mine.
Saved nothing, paid $50 for the fronts only
I mounted and removed, 30 minutes?
No I didn't, as mine shipped from GA (Keeping in mind that I didn't buy direct from the manufacturer on amazon).
To be clear, eBay has buyer protection. They dont sell fronts only on amazon so my options were limited. I just got a refund from eBay, the seller told me to threw them away.
They weren't up front, and they took days to respond. What's really frustrating is the forums tell you that someone...
After messaging back and fourth with Mabett on this forum directly its pretty apparent that they dont give care much to put out a quality product, or even worse support the folks who bought their product and need replacement parts due to poor manufacturing standards.
I am aware that they are...
Just did mine yesterday along with a set of grill marker lights. I did get the set with the spacers. My bolts were long enough for them. Also pretty impressed.
Liking the look of the three marker lights on the grill. Nothing I found looked right.
I decided to make my own kit. Using these marker lights I found on Amazon, and cut some pieces of left over Mud Flap material used for my gap flaps in the rear.
So I cut the flap material to the width...
I’ve done some research. This will increase ride height but have little other impact.
I want to stiffen it up a bit on the road. I’m doing Bilstein 5100’s.
Lemon law differs from state to state. I had a car bought back after 8 weeks a part went bad ( it happens). That was January 19th. I had a buyback confirmation by February 10th. 30 days out of service is enough for a buyback. In my state (fl) you get back what you paid including payments.
Once...
Well Scott R Nelson, I agree your experience with them looks better than others. they absolutely did what I'd want to them to do. I have also seen (was looking for the posts) folks who used the Weather tech flaps and had a different outcome. I am glad they work for you. I do believe they...
The front flaps have a huge gap allowing anything and everything to pass through the gap between the flare and the flap. regardless of price, the weather tech flaps do no do the job up front.
I have a set of these flaps and after installing one of them I decided I wasn't going to drill any holes in a painted fender flare. I grabbed the flap and wiggled two of the three slide clips right off the car. I'd be willing to be that they won't stay on long....... I am shocked how...
