Amazing job @Philly! The pic showing the cargo area is especially appreciated. (Current Wrangler owner for whom a 2-door is a no go because my dog canāt fit in the back.)
The door panels/tub walls seem so high...
The potential availability of aftermarket or OEM half doors will be one of many factors that itāll take to get me out of a Jeep.
Why? Genuinely curious/not trolling. I'm something of an outsider here as a current Jeep owner but am not a brand loyalist. (On the contrary, a switch to Ford is very much in play for me.)
Depends on what metrics you're using, maybe; resale values have historically been very strong on Wranglers. (Now that another convertible 4WD vehicle is coming, that may change eventually?)
Heck, you basically typed it all out for me. Much obliged. I like rowing gears and taking the top/door off. My favorite mod on my Jeep is an aftermarket stereo system I can crank to overcome road noise! (Edit: not touchscreen āinfotainmentā; a ridiculous looking 1992ish head unit and decent...
I'm currently in a 4 door Wrangler, but with 2 door envy. 2 kids in the backseat, and a decent-sized dog (65 lbs) who rides in the back. There's no way he fits in the back of a 2 door Wrangler... but the 2 door Bronco, on the other hand, is looking like a possibility.
Side note: I wish that...
Just be glad thereās a 4 door option available. Otherwise, I reckon thereād be no Bronco at all. (Check out Jeep sales figures for 2 vs 4 doors as a point of reference.)
Not simply having the same drain setup across all models seems like a weird choice to me. I wonder what the reasoning was behind that.
Many of us Jeepers yank the active drain plugs- which may be our only drains?- and leave āem out. Somewhat related, we often end up yanking the carpet as well...
