I bought the V2, nice steps… I agree with you on black screws….
For 2 door location is quite easy as you just need to get the step as close to the front rock rail bracket. It puts center of step fairly close to front seat bracket.
No complaints, I have a friend coming over later…. If they...
I installed paracord grab handles.. Although they help(it's better) I find that the position is still is somewhat awkward. We really need a solution closer to the upper portion of the front pillar.
I may change my mind after the steps arrive. But until then... that is my opinion...
The weekend it arrived, we took a trip to the upper Peninsula here in Michigan. As soon as we crossed the bridge we ran into a white out snow storm so much of the driving was slow. I averaged 17.2 miles to the gallon. (2.7liter) On the way back the weather was better, I was light on the...
Looks like the steps will be in the mail shortly.
Initially I did not put the coupon code in, I contacted support "after the fact" and they honored the coupon code. So far I have had a good experience. Looking forward to getting the steps on the Bronco.
No need for additional pictures I ended up with same black appearance on chassis as original poster.
As far as an update... very happy with product and service. I guess time will tell on how well it works ;)
"Now I feel protected!"
As i understand the "Boss wax" has the lifetime warranty. If it ever comes off they will always touch up to keep the vehicle protected. If the product is on it reduces chances for rust to develop. i dont think they claim rust can be eliminated. With that said... thevehicle will last much longer.
i realize broncos have aluminum panels but the "oil portion" also protects exterior panels from inside out. The process is not only frame protection. The whole vehicle is protected from rust or oxidation.
You can not get the "Boss wax" on anything but a new vehicle. You can get the "back in black" that protects and actually make the undercarraige look nice again. It is also much easier on the pocket book. it is for undercarraige, frame and body panel protection.
I had a 1999 clean cherokee done with the back in black a couple years ago. I am glad to see your thread.
I actually just dropped my bronco off today. Although this time around its a bit more work and of course more expensive.
I also went with the Boss wax (clear) along with the NHoil for the...
I just seen this after posting my thread/question...
NHOU BOSS Wax-Oil Undercoating
I am looking at a very similar application, I too am getting ready to spend some cash on a wax/oil rustproofing treatment. Yep pricey, but here in Michigan we have same salt concerns. I used NHOU oil on an...
I have an older "clean" jeep Cherokee...When I purchased I took to have the NH oil rustproofing.
With the new Bronco I have an appointment to rust proof with the BOSS Wax/ Oil undercoating.
It's pricey, warranted and transferable should you decide to sell. It's only offered on newer vehicles...
