  1. Installed my LOD rear bumper and license plate mount.

@Chritaka Glad to see you finally decided on your bumper and all went well with the install! Looking forward to see what you do with the Jerry can... I will be watching as I still may incorporate gasoline storage.

How does that tray bolt up?

Sorry just seen this… I do not have the coax style. I did not use. (Let me know if you need it if it will help with your set up.) I like the idea of going through the original grommet (like stock) Although I did go through the vent,I ended up creating a bracket and drill a couple holes to...
  4. Installed my LOD rear bumper and license plate mount.

If you had metal fatigue that is definitely something that I would have documented and sent directly to LOD for comments and/or replacement. Have any photos to show us? I would like to see, I am also going to contact LOD and ask about reported issues. They have been making this set up for...
  5. Installed my LOD rear bumper and license plate mount.

Shims come in the package, however I think I may have needed a little extra so I used a couple of the large washers instead. I have some pictures in the "show off your rear bumper" thread I started. There are others that have chimed in as well. @cbrownabq On the Rack... $ I understand... I...

On the LOD bumper they have a positive stop that is bolted on the bumper itself. There is a tab welded onto the swing carrier. When the swing carrier reaches the positive stop it will not go any further. You can choose where you want the tail gate/carrier to stop. Not high tech, just a stop...

Thanks... I will look closer to see if those ideas are possible... Locks keep honest men honest... The rest will take whatever they want...

I noticed on the gladiator Destroyer bumper they mount the trailer plug in the recessed area of the bumper. I will look and if there is enough room I will cut a hole and modify the plug to fit similarly. "If" there is enough room to access for plugging and unplugging with the spare time mounted.

I think folks may also want to see side views also. It may help a decision.
  10. Rear Bumper show off thread

I like the idea of lowering the tire a bit, I considered it myself. However I realize that it would make it difficult to hook and unhook the trailer (the latch mechanism) I use the trailer frequently, so it is not an option for me. I like the way you have the cans tucked away. I had to run...

I went and looked at the road armor bumper mentioned... Nice but that is even more $:ROFLMAO:

A quick photo with the rack mounted...You can actually still see through the rearview mirror even with the rack on. Wow looks pretty good :ROFLMAO:
  13. Installed my LOD rear bumper and license plate mount.

One other item that you may have to address... I had to shim the bracket for the tire carrier mount to allow the spare tire carrier to sit parallel with the tailgate. Other folks I spoke with also had to shim the carrier bracket.

I also agree with his comments on getting additional center bezels. I may eventually swap them all out for the larger flat sensor clips. For some reason I am seeing the large flat sensor clips on the Wild track. I added the rack to mine the other day. still trying to determine where I want...
  15. 2 Door Cargo Containment

Stop the back portion at the tailgate. Fold passenger seat out of way. Lengthen the passenger side of the cargo net/mesh and extend to front up to dash. The front portion would be fastened to the upper roof structure. The nets can easily hold the weight of an adult. Not for older folks but...
  16. 2 Door Cargo Containment

I was experimenting with a cargo net/mesh (similar product different brand)mounting along the sides with seats down in the 2door bronco. Using a couple drop loops off the structure to hold up the front. Basically using it for a bunk/ hammock in the event you wanted to sleep in the vehicle...
  17. Show Us Your Coolers! (Not Fridges)

I had the Orca cooler, I think the older style front runner plastic bins may fit along side, not sure as I don’t have them. although I am not a fan of yeti… I wanted a quality small cooler, the color helped persuade my purchase(what an idiot) I just purchased a rack to mount on my tire...

So far all is good. Nothing has loosened up. It has stayed where I set as... I actually ordered the storage rack a few days ago...(Delivery is planned for next week) I bought this accessory first, I figured I can toss up a gas can on the rack if I want to haul some gas around. IMO the...

I had a sensor issue for a bit. Went on youtube and seen that you can hold a screw driver on each sensor, and listen for clicks to find out which may be a problem. After checking you may find that you just need to check if a sensor is plugged in all the way. Add dieelectric grease when...
  20. Super Clean GMRS Radio Install!

Here is the radio location I am testing out. Made a small bracket, bolted the head unit to and used Velcro to hold the bracket while testing. Easy test no drilling . I still like the overhead as well as on the rail. I just do not want to drill any holes. Seems to be nice , and I can still...
