I agree that if they can get them, why wouldn't you. If Ford were producing vehicles like 2019, they'd have inventory and have to move them due to floorplan. With so little inventory, they need to stay in business too.
I finally broke down and called the MPH (I had only communicated with Ford via Twitter DMs). Still have a 5/7 EDD due to a microchip hold. Nice lady on the line, but it just sucks that nobody from @fordmotorcompany can communicate with any of us.
I got some negative feedback on the last response to Farley on LinkedIn, but here's a good thread for those of us stuck on Ice Mountain. They're influencing plenty of buyers to go to a different make...
I just got back from a mountain trip in North Carolina. Our Edge didn't bring the same excitement as the Black Diamond, with an EDD of 2/6. On the bright side, we didn't put miles on it, and there are no chips in the paint (unless a snow plow knocked up something on Ice Mountain).
Since we had...
On my drive to work, I thought about the options I would have added to my order, such as the hardtop. I only picked the soft top, knowing it would help it get scheduled.
Hopefully, someone in our group got shipped this week as I'm getting sick of seeing new ones on the road while ours rot in...
Your comment reminded me of a customer I had at our Chrysler dealership nearly a decade ago. His SRT8 Chrysler 300 was stuck in "I" status for a missing interior panel, and our dealer rep wouldn't give us a straight answer. I just looked up the email, and this got the ball moving:
For these lines running, why do so many Ford dealers have so little inventory? I dropped our Edge off for service this morning and they had FIVE new Fords on the lot.
I'm only posting as mine is 1/17 build week (started production on 1/14 but has been stuck in production since 1/24). The dealership received both invoices the same week and no answer on the delayed shipping on his.
So my dad's order arrived from Ice Mountain last week (he's not on the tracker and was on vacation). It was a 2/25 blend and 1186/2201 on the window sticker. Outerbanks Sasquatch 4 door 2.7L.
They asked what the best way to respond was. I said no preference from DM or email.
Funny how they never answered my public tweets over the last 60 days.
