Oh, they build date push backs are nothing compared to shipping push back dates. Rail delays and convoy delays are at an all-time high right now.
my build date was moved two times, rail shipping date moved 6 or 7 times and I am on 6 and counting now for ship from rail holding log to dealership...
Thanks for confirming and clear explanation. Hopefully Ford figured out this Snafu fast otherwise a lot of dealers will be dealing with pissed off customers come pick up day when this surprise hits them in the office signing paperwork.

Phew…hopefully they don’t try and pull one over on me and give me the ‘23 private offer only and not the ‘22. This is so stressful not only waiting so long for delivery but having to worry about all the pricing issues going on since new year. Cant wait for this to be over hopefully in next week...
So were you an original reservation holder? If you got a ‘23 build they basically screw you out of $2000 if you get an MY23 even if you reserved and paid before 3/19/21?

Oh, ok. GM at dealership told me the smaller one ($825?) comes off at time of purchase and the bigger one ($2000+?) doesn not but they will cut you a check once they get reimbursed from Ford is how they operate at this dealership normally.

I am curious how long the dealer will play the wait game trying to figure out your PP before they mark it up on the lot and try to sell it instead of dealing with resolving the issue. That would say a lot about what kind of dealership integrity they possess.
