  1. HOSS 3.0 Replace Stock Springs with Longer Springs

Aren’t the hoss 3.0/fox springs made my Eibach? I read that eibach makes fox springs but don’t know for sure if that’s the case with the hoss 3.0.
  2. HOSS 3.0 Replace Stock Springs with Longer Springs

sorry if this has been asked: I added about 200 lbs to my Wildtrak H 3.0 front bumper with a winch + mount and frame horn reinforcements. This roughly tripled the amount of rake on the Wildtrak, from about 0.5 degrees to 2 degrees (~4-5” lower in the front than the back). Putting 200 lbs of...
  3. Steering wheel very sensitive after off-roading

I got the work done. Dealer replaced driver's side tie-rod end and performed a front-end alignment. The repair didn't really seem to make a difference in the steering though; Maaaaybe a 5% difference but it still feels a litle looser than before. Oh well, they said it was good to go and felt...
  4. Steering wheel very sensitive after off-roading

Not sure but this what they looked like from above. Look pretty close to the same?
  5. Steering wheel very sensitive after off-roading

Tie rods: looks like just the driver side is bent? Driver passenger
  6. Steering wheel very sensitive after off-roading

op update: took it to a dealer and they said steering felt normal but they found a bent tie rod. Maybe that is what was causing me to notice a difference in feel. Dealer said they’d try to get one but can’t even order the part. Gave the green light to keep driving it though. I’m not really...
  7. Steering wheel very sensitive after off-roading

Is the dealer the only option for alignment on these? I called a few independent shops and they said they won’t work on new broncos yet. Sadly taking it to the dealers in my area would probably be worse than just leaving it like it is.
  8. Steering wheel very sensitive after off-roading

Ok thanks, I'll see if I can take it to an alighment shop to check it out.
  9. Steering wheel very sensitive after off-roading

Thank you! The battery disconnect seems to have helped. I can feel the steering sensitivy increase during normal and eco modes now, once you start rolling above 5-10 mph it feels more like it used to. I apprecaite it. I didn't trickle charge it overnight but I didn't have any issues after...
  10. Steering wheel very sensitive after off-roading

Yep. I can steer it with just my index finger whereas before I needed a light grip on the wheel. I guess some might not consider that a bad thing it's just a little weird to me. It still tracks straight and doesn't drift.
  11. Steering wheel very sensitive after off-roading

Took my wildtrak off roading. After I aired from 20 back up to 35 upon leaving the trail I noticed my steering wheel seemed very sensitive. The steering is responsive & accurate - it's just that it takes ~30% less force to deflect the wheel than it did before. A few weeks later I tried...
  12. Buckle up Buttercup winch mount.

Does anyone know if the buckleup winch mount bracket would fit a Warn VR EVO-10s? My winch dealer/installer more or less refused to let me use the Rough Country one.
  13. RC High Winch Mount & Winch Install w/ Control Box Relocation

I read the whole thread, but is there a definitive winch that works best to fit in this mount with minimal parking sensor sanding and ease of control box relocation? The smittybilt in the OP appears not to be available and since its latest iteration is 2 generations down line, I was unsure how...
  14. 2.7 Oil -- use motorcraft 5w-30 full synthetic or half synthetic ?

Couldn’t you guys just not click I the thread if you don’t want to talk about oil? No need to make the poor guy feel bad by posting snarky memes. I guess that’s par for the course in the world of car talk though, no shortage of fucking assholes.
  15. 2.7 Oil -- use motorcraft 5w-30 full synthetic or half synthetic ?

Between those two choices I would use the Motorcraft Full Synthetic 5w30 instead of the synthetic blend. While either one would *probably* be fine, as would going with the recommended 7500 miles between oil changes, several used oil analyses have shown the Motorcraft 5W30 synthetic blend...
  16. Change Driveline Fluids Early!

Did my wife’s OBX back in April at 6700 miles and my Wildtrak tonight at 3100 miles. Here are pictures of the rear drain plugs (they both have the locking rear diff although the OBX is non Sasquatch). This was the OBX 6700 miles. Refilled with Valvoline 75w140 gear oil. And the Wildtrak at...
  17. FordPass App v5.0 Launched

How do you extend the remote start after you initially start it? It seems like if you don’t extend the start within a few seconds of the first start the option to extend is gone.
  18. Baja designs pro triple fog light advice for modular bumper

Interesting, my boxes didn’t say “upside down” yet it seems from the photos and my observation that the upside down mounted amber SAE more closely resembles the beam pattern of the clear/white SAE mounted right side up. Don’t you think the second amber pattern in the photo above represents a...
  19. Baja designs pro triple fog light advice for modular bumper

yep makes sense, and I talked to John from SPV today and he said the same thing. My white SAE I bought by themselves did need the long brackets, just not the amber SAE that came in the kit since they were the model that was designed to be mounted upside down.
  20. Baja designs pro triple fog light advice for modular bumper

ok, thank both you guys for the help. This is all my fault as I actually got my white SAE fogs from outside the kit, so my mixing and matching caused the problems. I think my white squadron SAE that I purchased standalone did need the long brackets, but I went back and put the short brackets...
