I've discussed my disappointment with the 2022 Wildtrak pricing, on an earlier thread. Unfortunately, not enough people seem to be aware of the Ford changes/downgrades on this model, to make a difference. Let me try to explain my position:
I'm ok with the fact that Ford held pricing on the...
Yes. The easy way to tell the Wildtrak apart, will be by looking at all of the downgrades, from my 2021:
2021: Door handles -- Painted to match / 2022 -- Door Handles -- MIC Grey
2021: Mirror Backs -- Painted to match / 2022 Mirror Backs -- MIC Grey
2022: Front Bumper Options -- started with a...

I keep looking at the few Capable Bumper photos that are available... I'm pretty sure that the End are NOT Removable, in the same way as the ends on the Modular Bumper are removable. It appears to me that the total distance across the front length remains the same; however, there looks to be a...
I'm not sure. You'll note that my post, was about a year ago. At that time, I talked to the lady at Ford; she changed it with me, while I was still on the phone with her; and I received a confirmation email in about an hour.
Apparently, the phone number that we used, is still correct for the...
I agree with you on most everything; however, I stuck with a Wildtrak. I sent a revised 2022 order for a Wildtrak, MIC, Lux, Leather, White. I will either have someone Paint or apply X-Line Ultra (it's a smoother version that they will custom color to your Paint Code), which will not separate...
I just ordered with the "Capable" bumper. Please follow to let us know if the same frame might be used on that project bumper... maybe even deliver it as an option, without the pre-drilled holes.
I would buy this frame, without knowing more about how it would mount, if I could order it without...
Same... did you notice on the 2022 Build, that the Wildtrak changed their handle (covers) to black? I guess there is always some kind of "stuff" to keep your heart beating...
I also thought about changing, from Wildtrak to Badlands, but it kept coming back about $2800 more to get the badlands with the extra options. I'm not saying that I can't afford the extra $2800... I'm just saying that I'm too cheap to accept a downgrade that costs me extra bucks!!!
please please please ask Ford if they can allow a Black interior/seat option on a Wildtrak... the rest of the interior can stay the same color selections!!! I would be happy to get either an MGV or Leather option... I'm sure that many others are also interested in a BLACK SEAT option...
No big deal! You could put a popup tent on a SAS Badlands. The only problem is that you would need to remove it to get into a garage door, with only a 7' height...
BLUE CHIP,
I decided to defer, my build, until the 2022 my... hopefully to start production, in mid-December. I'm a first day reservation, and I should be among the first bunch of builds.
I will be selling, both my wheels and tires, as a complete set. If you remain interested, I'll make you...
I think there's just the handful of out-of-state dealers offering below invoice pricing. These dealers are betting on High Volume sales, for a probable big payday. There have been no California dealers (that I know of) that are using this business strategy! Additionally, CA charges an additional...
