It’s been wild. I’ll update in detail later. Essentially we officially took 1st place due to time credit for someone closing part of the course on accident locking us out from the finish. Sykes got a DNF due to penalties accumulated during the race from missed markers that put them over the time...

He is doing good so far. We are waiting in Santa Tomas for him to pass us before we move on to the first official pit. He won’t be going fast enough to overcome his lights throw and it’s too dusty for em so far anyway. Plus it’s gonna be some serious rain coming up

Tomorrow is race day. It’s been an exhausting couple of days leading up as we navigate this incredible experience. Team is ready and we are stoked. I’ll likely be MIA till the end of the race. Rad Media on IG will have a YouTube link to follow live feed from the race car.

Passed tech today. Doing some last minute team planning. I got added as an emergency backup driver haha. Things are getting real. Met the whole Ford Racing crew today. They were very impressed/supportive of what we are trying to accomplish.

When we did the video, we had the noise. We were told it was the internal bumps/JCO’s? I forget exactly what. It’s normal we were told and it’s part of the internals working. I found it similar to external bump stop noises

I’m on the race team as a chase/support crew member. I don’t have exact specifics but it’s a Stockish base bronco with 2.3/manual, front HD spicer diff, rear Dana 60, spec roll cage and Bilstein 8112’s. Honestly it’s a bolt on parts bronco and not super different except roll cage, lack of roof...

they were last year but sold their top after Sema to that IG bronco ya'll saw earlier that was posting about his issues with it. Not sure if they will be back
