Because Ford themselves will release a MIC top accessory eventually and it’ll be competitively priced. The part numbers we look at today are priced so high for insurance repairs and to control stock on constrained items.
Anderson seems to have a better track record at producing large carbon fiber products than ADV has manufacturing large fiber glass. I’m guessing Anderson has all the equipment they need which puts them worlds ahead of ADV.
Will be interesting to see who’s first to market with a hard top. I always thought it would be Ford 🤣
If ADV existed, I think I’d still want the carbon fiber. It’s lightweight, stronger, and looks hella nice in that pic.
They actually have a prototype. Paying attention @ADV Fiberglass ?
”You can give free money to a company that hasn’t produced any proof whatsoever they are capable of manufacturing the product they sold you”
Ended up ordering a bracket for that, don’t think I want to tape something on… not sure though, I might just leave it off completely until I get a warning.
Sorry didn’t read the whole thread. You should remove the sides of the back from the bottom first, not rip it out of its socket. Once the bottom is out, the top maneuvers out with minimal force.
