Just installed mine and am very happy with the shape of the knob. I was worried about losing the leather, but the Delrin feels great!
For those interested, I weighed the individual components on a quality scale.
OEM Cap: 6.11 g
Boomba Cap: 3.29 g
OEM Knob: 71.09 g
Boomba Knob: 247.32 g

Ha, crazy that people don't understand the concept of copyright protection.
Fortunately for us, @EIGHTLUG is working on a licensing deal with Ford to produce these. 🤞

I tried to wait, but they are already available from other sellers who use the same pattern and material, so I had to go around @Mabett.
Leaving 2-door owners begging for products does not engender loyalty…just sayin’.
Looks great!
I have an excellent steamer that I use everyday, so all set! Just have to drag it downstairs, lol.
What did you use to remove the adhesive residue?
Looks awesome!
Were you able to keep the heating feature? Also, it looks like the Alcantara is coming loose on the bottom left of the wheel in the last pic.
I purchased the @StickerFab overlays, but have yet to install them. I wish they matched the visors a bit better, so I'm going to try the OP's solution first and keep the overlays as a backup in case I can't cleanly remove the residual adhesive. Glad there are multiple options available to us.
Thank you!
If I had not purchased the Pressure Control Kit, I would have used the supplied switch mounted on the Air Coupler Switch Bracket. However, since the PC Kit gives me Bluetooth control over the compressor, I decided to use the upfitter switches.
I agree it's too short, but my foot has never slipped off the pedal. My issue is that the short and narrow pedal makes it very difficult to downshift cleanly. It's too short to blip the throttle with my heel and too narrow to roll my foot to achieve the same.
I think it was @JcrOffroad who mentioned they have a one in the works. Originally said it would require drilling into the hard top, but came back later and stated they have solution that will not require drilling.
A full rack renders my Sunrider unusable, so I hope they announce something soon. 🤞
Thank you, for this info. I like my Sunrider so much that I was considering the Trek Top, but that logo looks terrible. I normally have no problem with company logos, but this one is a bit too much for me.
My favorite part is, "They also seemed to have left some scratch's (sic)." I would absolutely expect some scratches from the residual dirt on the windows, unless the windows were spotless, which I doubt.
