Yes. That was my same thought. Not necessarily having the switch tied in with the computer. Just having it as an engaged or not engaged switch. Hopefully someone smarter than me can find a solution and share it on the forum.
Been thinking about this for a while. Glad to see this post. I’m curious to know if you did add in the disco switch, could you wire it to an aftermarket disco to make it appear OEM.
I put the RPG perch collars on to add a little lift. So I never tested off-roading without a lift. But mall curb-stops were no challenge for this built wild beast. 🤣
But seriously, I never had issues on light off-roading trails.
I’d do this deal if I was in the Bay Area. Hope someone takes you up on this offer soon. I know someone is going to ask, so I’ll throw it out there. 2.3 or 2.7? Looks like it was off a 4dr if your profile pic is the vehicle they were pulled from.
Cheers! Good luck getting them sold.
Ahhhhh! The anticipation is killing me. That video was such a tease. This might be the most anticipated thing for me. A dude thought of an idea. Pursued it. And now will share it with the world. I’m envious of your determination and focus on bringing this to the market. And not having it as your...
I don’t need them. But I’ve done this swap. 2dr and 4dr flares are the same size. The swap is easy. Just make sure you get the rear bumper end caps that matchup with the non-Sas flares.
good luck on your trade.
@Merle the Bronco Have you mentioned how the back towers will attach to the Bronco? Curious how it will get under a hard or soft top. Or maybe it isn’t going under at all.
Me too. I keep eyeballing it. If I was local, I’d do it. It’s not totally necessary. But would be nice to have two on the rear instead of only one my BD came with.
I would have been off on some trail if I had this set-up. But today I’m enjoying a Bruce Springsteen cover band with family, friends, and my local community. Celebrating this amazing country. Happy Birthday to the greatest nation.
Glad you guys were able to make the drive down. Thank you for helping me get it all out of the garage. Let’s stay in touch. Would like to see how your build progresses and maybe hit up a trail or two.
Happy 4th of July. Hope you get to throw back a few hot dogs and drink some cold ones.
Cheers! 🍻
