Honestly, I wouldnt get the factory treatment. Even if the film is decent quality the paint finish itself is always "fishy" (fish-eyes, swirls etc) and putting film over that just preserves the poor appearance. For me, its worth the extra effort (or service provider cost) to get a Paint...
Its about market size, easy of modding and the general "coolness" of the vehicle market.
The BRONCO is red hot. Those round headlamps are super easy to copy/replace.
There will be LED options that get crazy like phone-apps that change rainbow colors. Not looking for that kind of look, only...
kind of petty thing... but you cannot get the LED signature headlight accents on the BD no matter what options or pkg you pick. Only the Badlands (or OB and Wild, and FE).
Pretty sure that I'm still going BD for the really appealing setup at the best price. I know without a doubt within a few months (or weeks) there will be many aftermarket options for things like LED lights, lightbars, tail lamps etc. I'd love to have $50Kish to get the perfect ride, but a BD...
For affordability, love the features of the Black Diamond..... except no LED signature front lights. Jeez, you can get those on a Sentra these days...
So stepping all the way up to Badlands pretty much for the LEDs. (yeah, a petty thing).
OK, who else spends way too much time rummaging through this forum in search of another morsel of info on the new Bronco? But that's another story....
Been across the full spectrum of trims in what I (think) I want (right now) and what I affordably should get.
Decided to go the "Best Bang for...
anyone else curious about that underbelly shot? looking at the ground and orientation seems to be of the 2-door. But the shocks are gray, not Bilstein yellow?
Seems odd that according to that allowed/prohibited data dump, if you choose a Badlands (no matter what option pkg) you have only two choices for interior
1. marine grade vinyl (no color description, assuming that whitish gray pictured everywhere)
2. leather (unnamed but excludes all two-tone...
Did the stock buy (100 shares) mostly on curiosity how Ford (F) might rise in value once the public and investment sectors recognize the HUGE demand for the new BRONCO. Also figured the 6-month wait was already baked into the time until I can be close to ordering one anyhow.
BigLig - think you can option the "high-clearance" on a Badlands keeping the 2.3/Manual. That should be enough prep for putting on 35's or 37's. You will still have the stock BD 4.46 rear
curious for alternative purpose of that pane/cover in the bumper.
there are provisions for it on both types of front bumpers.
seriously.... what the heck can it be? some other sensor package?
Read a couple comments on other threads noticing the available factory-optioned winch on front bumper (rugged steel one) covers up the "window pane" for the forward-looking collision avoidance sensors. That really surprised me since I made the same observation on a cursory look. However, in...
