Here we go on this merry-go-round again. Ford didn't need to prioritize any dealership. That's the antithesis of what we wanted. They just needed to fill reservations based on first-come:first-served. Regardless of where the reservation was placed. Like Ford initially said they were going to do.
So, in the event that Granger gets 1000 Broncos delivered at once, are we planning a rager in the parking lot?
I should probably know this by now but, what's the timeframe for this scheduling cycle? That'll be our most important time limit, I think. Any Granger customer that doesn't take this...
I'll start:
Opening order banks again with over 100k backlogged... twice
I'll say this, though. Taking a month to do orders semi-correctly (Orders first, not stock), is a good step. Wish they had considered it before, and for longer. And, hopefully, time-stamp is prioritized.
Here's a germane article from just this morning:

Toyota has been able to navigate the issues, and is expecting to hit pre-pandemic levels of production this year.
I don't think it would ever be reasonable to expect them to guarantee a build. There really are too many possible variables.
However, if they continue putting allotments above reservation date, and then double-down by opening order books again: That is a direct F*** you to us all.
While that is a logical assumption, I think we're all familiar with what happens when you assume.
Ford needs to be explicit in writing for anyone to be sure.
You're right, my mistake. That does leave the gray area of something already on order. But, in that case, I'd guess you can cancel and reorder for the offer... Hopefully.
The supply chain is as legitimate a reason as any other automaker. Ford has seemingly put themselves in a worse position than any other.
Also, Ford designed the tops as cheaply as possible, and then reluctantly redesigned them as little as possible to end up with the same problems. That's not...
I'm one of the GrangeTober holders. Base Mansquatch. I am considering dropping Sas to get a super cheap new Bronco, but it's hard to drop that legitimate value of the package.
If I don't end up getting the Bronco before PP expires, I'll be moving on from any Ford as an option for the...
Or, keep nudging price-protected reservations toward the door. Eventually enough will fall away, or the clock will run out. "Oops. We did everything we could to get you a Bronco."
