Man, that looks amazing. Well done. I'm not a fan of the white trim on the Heritage edition, but this -- this is something else.
Also, love the DMB and Grizzlies love going on. :)
I hate to rain on anyone’s parade here, but the answer to OP’s question is 100% no.
Would the two modular front pieces fit? Yes. And if you fold the rear seats down you can also jam the larger center piece in there, too, at an angle.
But the issue is the rear clamshell. It sits over the frame...
Yeah, the market is very different than it was 12-18 months ago. If you pay ADM now, you're just allowing yourself to be taken advantage of. I got my Bronco in January '23 and paid under MSRP, and I got exactly what I wanted with no compromises.
Markets for all consumer goods flow in waves of...
Thank you for this thread and for the video and text solutions.
While running errands today in my 23 OBX, the rear driver side window would auto-roll down just fine, but trying to roll it up it would get to the top and then auto-roll back down. Manually rolling it up by holding the switch...
I’ll have to try this. Just put my soft top on last week and there is a jingling sound coming from the rear cargo area whenever I hit a bump. Sounds like change in a pocket. Obviously I can’t troubleshoot it while driving but it’s been —hehe— driving me nuts all week.
My dealer offered me a decent discount on an extended service and maintenance plan, so I took it. Peace of mind is underrated.
Oddly enough, my Ford account still shows the points, even though I’ve confirmed with Ford that I have the extended coverage. Not sure if it’s an error or they’ll...
RokBlokz. They look great and have just the right amount of flex. Mounts to existing hardware. Comes in a variety of widths and lengths. Good for Sas or non-Sas. And they have thumbscrews for removing them quickly.
Also, they offer a trade-in program so if you do a lift, get bigger tires, etc...
We're about to take our first road trip in the Bronco! We plan to have the soft top down most of the trip. In addition to our luggage, we'll have some valuables with us (laptop, camera, Steam Deck, etc.).
What are some practical steps we can take to secure our stuff on a road trip, whether the...
Are these brackets slightly behind the B-pillar, essentially above the rear passenger door opening?
Are they visible with the soft top in the "first" position (partly back), or do you have to have it all the way back to see them?
What is their purpose?
Fair enough. :) I guess I'll order those IAG pillar covers and maybe only use them during the swap. I'm just not in love with the idea of leaving them on full time. Or is there a risk of scratching the pillars when opening and closing the soft top, too?
At the recommendation of a friend, I did...
I like the idea of this, but I'm not in love with the color. Is the risk of scratching just when taking off the soft top? Putting it on, I don't recall any time when the metal made contact with the roll bars.
In Ford's tutorial video for removing the soft top, they recommend covering the roll...
Yep, sure did. So thank you!
My father worked for GM for over 40 years, and my uncles and cousins worked for Chrysler and Ford. From one automotive family to another, my hat's off to you.
Good to know, thank you. Any suggestions for cleaning it off?
Thanks for pointing out those plastic brackets. My soft top came on a big foam pallet from Ford. When it comes time to swap back to the MIC hard top, my plan is to put the soft top back on the pallet. Hopefully that will prevent any...
Thank you for this!
1. We only took off 1 of the pre-installed C-pillar trim pieces, and that was just to compare its part number to the ones that came with my soft top kit, to make sure they were the same (they were). I don't recall if there was a trim piece under it or just metal body, but...
When I took delivery of my Bronco in January, it came with the MIC hard top pre-installed, and the OEM soft top was in the back. I finally was able to swap tops today, and this post was very helpful. Thank you.
Sadly, I swapped tops after spending all day working outside, so I was exhausted by...
