Q: Was there a factory coat of wax on every bronco before it sat out and got a healthy coating of earth-dust all over them. Zoom in - those Broncos are COATED in dirt.
holy crap! Significantly more than $123,000,000 just rotting... and that's just Broncos - the difference from other models...
3,000 broncos at an average of $41,000 (random number) = $123,000,000.
Ford definitely WANTS those Broncos in your driveways badly, so… the holdup must be a doozy.
There. I said it.
35s up front, 33s (party) in the back = Sasquat
I keep trying to leave this forum alone,... and stories like this keep popping up and make "leaving" the Bronco impossible!
My line was the test drive. I drove a 4dr Badlands 2.3, manual, and a 4dr Wildtrack 2.7 auto.
- It wasn't comfortable. That's what truly did it in. I was on the fence for 3500lb towing limit, the delays, and the "unfinished" stuff (hard top, soft top rubbing already), but the test drive...
^^ hahaha.. touché. It was a Badlands - It's been a couple of weeks, and I have other things in life to be concerned with - even thought one wouldn't know that by the colossal amount of time I've spent on here.
**Update: Drove a 4dr Wildtrack, 2.7 auto today.
Leather Interior, Soft Top, Lux Package.
It was fun, the 2.7 is AMAZING in this vehicle. Of note - the tailgate "table" rattles like crazy if you don't put some foam in it somewhere. The sliding, lockable drawer in the back also rattles.
I'm...
Haaahahahahahaaa... They literally cannot build a fraction of the reservations - that were placed thirteen months ago(!!!), but the faithful are supposed to be "stoked" about this!?
Haahahahahahaa!!!
Rubber, Glue.
OP has a Proper Post in the Proper Location. Appropriate in all ways. Folks post "things like this" to vent, to find community (on a forum!? gasp!!), to talk it out (again... on a forum!??), and... last but not least, to give themselves a voice in a venue that @Ford Motor...
As an owner of a 2000 4runner and now a 2016 4runner limited. If Toyota brings another generation of underpowered 4runner to market, it would likely set the trajectory for the end of the 4runner.
The absence of a viably competitive product would be a significant loss for us consumers.
I had a July 14th Res for a Badlands. In the end, the discombobulated shenanigans from Ford Launch and the 3,500lb tow capacity saw me cancel the reservatioin to wait all of this out. I could not buy a vehicle that I'd never seen.
Turns out, Wyatt Johnson in Nashville has 2 mannequins. Both...
Basically, Ford is saying, ... we know that you made a reservation, and that was cute, but now we realize that we are in business and we have these contract thingies with dealers, and our reservation wasn't a guarantee, so someone understood the business thingies when we made reservations, but...
As far as dealerships and knowledge. Selling puts food on the table. You would be surprised - in the larger (outside Bronco) world of auto sales how little "knowing" affects the bottom line.
For the best, sales is an art, a performance, and a science. The only thing the salesperson really...
I cancelled last week. Hopefully that will bump some other Middle TN folks up on the list.
I'll be in either an X5 or a GMC AT4. I have some more test driving to do to decide. In the end, Bronco launch being so drawn (COVID?), 1st year, and towing capacity limitation were the kickers.
