A 17 or 18 with 35's doesn't look or feel bad either. The 33's I run are a load range E for towing. Used to plow too. Right now I'm running 285/75/16 Wild Country XTX Sport A/T. So far they have been great. They are a tad stiff being E tires. But I don't mind. Its not like I'm driving a luxury car.
LOL I don't think it will flex that much. Close to it though! My brother has a 99 on 33's. this coming spring I'm putting the long-arm front on it, and braided brake line extensions. He's been piecing it together for 10 years now.
This is the only photo I have.
What I'm pointing out, the first photo in that post. Looks like coil buckets, 4 link mounts forward of the rear axle location, and a panhard mount behind it. Just wonding if this was a boo-boo or what. I know ford is testing coil rear on the bronco/ranger and also on the new f150s.
Images and video of it climbing some pretty rough two tracks, up in the woods with camping gear. Taking kayaks to the river down a rough trail. Climbing up a mountain and buzzing across a desert valley. It will sell in droves.
SFA is all but capable of being on par with typical IFS Suv ride comfort. BUT IFS is better for road use in a vast majority of circumstances. I hate to disagree with SFA junkies, but its true. The only thing tied to both wheels is a sway bar. This allows for a better ride quality with less...
If I remember correctly. D.O.T. laws say that a fully functioning taillight (brake/turn/running) has to be attached to the body. Not the bumper or hatch/tailgate. Plus it has to be visible from the side. I could be wrong though. Wouldn't be the first time, just ask my wife.
See, I'm torn, in my use case. If I'm being honest and reasonable, IFS makes more sense. But the impractical side of me is hoping for SFA badass toughness....
My primary use would be a daily driver 40-50 miles a day. Maybe 2-3 weekends in the summer would it actually be USED off road. Then...
