I know itās not a popular choice here, but I really like the painted flares. Any real wheeling and they will start looking like crap, but for now they really finish the look.
Too funny. I got the e-mail early this morning. I wasnāt reading too closely, but what caught my eye first were the 3 bullet points. When I started reading those, I thought āholy cow, not only am I scheduled, but itās already been built and shipped!ā Of course, after the shot of adrenaline...
Over the weekend I went to my dealer and re-ordered for MY22. Only change I made was from MIC to soft top now standard on WT. All along all I have wanted is a body color matching top. Hoping Ford or maybe aftermarket offers that sometime in the near future.
Yes. The steel bars that encompass the wheels have holes drilled in them. The diameter of the holes exactly fits an old fashioned bicycle lock. Or if you look on 1Upās web site, they have locks that fit through the holes. Hereās what it looks like.
Really agree with this. I understand the barriers to EV adoption. But arenāt hybrids a good incremental step between todayās world and a full on EV world? Plus, being a gear head, Iām pretty excited about the performance capabilities of the hybrids and the MPG improvements. Other than price...
If completely sealed, then yes, capillary action is mitigated. But those unsealed edges make me nervous. If even a small amount of moisture is allowed into that composite, it will surely cause problems. While others have feared the effect of freezing temperatures, Iām more worried about hot...
Not a Ford fanboy but we probably ought to cut them a little slack on some of these constraints. I buy raw materials for ultimate use in the road construction industry. Besides constraints on some materials, trucking has got to be a huge problem. There are just not enough drivers and those...
Sorry no experience with Quadratec, but lots of experience with others. It may be a perfectly fine rack for your typical use. But one concern I have is the potential for wobbling. The description says it wonāt wobble in the hitch, but the overall geometry around the swivel looks like it would...
Ha, thanks much for your kind assistance. Donāt know how I missed that after all these months on this site. I guess my first clue should have been that practically all the people discussing the capable bumper showed Badlands as their Bronco of choice. I guess now I have some research to do...
Okay Iām really lost. I like the capable bumper. But where is that on the 2022 build and price site? For all trims, the only bumper option I see is the Ford Heavy Duty Modular bumper. I just got done chatting with some lady on Fordās build and price site and she has never heard of a capable...
See my avatar? That was my ā74. I had it for over 20 years. Started out changing an alternator bracket and before I knew it was fully into a body off frame resto mod project. Ended up selling it to someone who made me a crazy high offer. His plan was for it to be a show car for his wife...
Wow thatās a well thought out accessory. Enthusiasts griping about the ugly appearance of that pinch weld is so common that you have to wonder why that part of this accessory isnāt standard equipment. Yeah, I knowā¦$$$.
Iām sorta with you on this. As others have pointed out, the current Power boost system is probably too heavy with the battery and squeezing an electric motor/generator into the Bronco would be a problem. Perhaps a Bronco-sized, scaled down hybrid system could be made to work though. I...
Not sure if they have anything for a 6G Bronco yet, but keep an eye on these guys:
https://www.calcarcover.com/
I have purchased a variety of covers from them for several vehicles, including the EB in my avatar. They have all been great quality and lots of options on cover type depending on...
