I got nothing intelligent to add on the chip shortage, but that ‘69 Chevy in your avatar is sweet. My father had one and we used it to pull a small travel trailer all over the place. Burned clutches like a SOB. I want my Bronco too.

I prefer the looks and proportions of the 2-door. It reminds me of my 89 Eddie Bauer, which I dearly loved. A 2-door would also fit better in my garage. Nevertheless my order is for a 4-door Wildtrak. But my choice has nothing to do with convenience for rear seat passengers. To me I just...
Your specification is fairly narrow. You say no pickups. But a lot of the SUV’s one size up from Bronco are based on those and handle similarly. I initially thought of a Tahoe or Sequoyah, but those might be too big. I think bytheway’s suggestion of an Explorer might be worth a look. Your...
Great to hear your thoughts. My wife will be interested in your perspective. Can’t believe you drove all the way from Alabama to Vegas in a Wrangler. It’s a great vehicle, but not for that kind of trip! I hope you and your hubby have lots of fun with the new Bronco. What trim did you...
Yep, this is the first thread that causes me to reconsider my color choice of iconic silver. Although I like silver, the velocity blue, cactus gray, and carbonized gray all have me reconsidering. I saw the velocity blue at Barrett Jackson and it was spectacular indoors under the spotlights...
Some of you in this thread have said that in May we will get an e-mail saying when our Bronco will be assembled, or something to that effect. Is this true for all those holding reservations or some subset of those holding reservations? Thanks for any clarification you can provide.

For sure this is a real thing. I buy natural rubber in my job and the price has increased almost 50% since last August. Tire compounders can substitute synthetic rubber for natural rubber up to a certain point. But certain types of tires (for example, truck tires) really require a higher...
If there is a SAS, measure from front of front bumper to back of spare, in other words, total length. Actually, I would even take non-SAS length dimension. I know Ford publishes the length in the spec sheets, but I can’t tell if that includes the spare. Thanks!
