I doubt many people would be pushed over the edge to buy a Bronco by the V8. The take rate in the F150 is sub-25% and I can’t imagine the Bronco would be anywhere near that. FCAs Hemi everything program it makes sense but I think the more tech forward Bronco would not get as many sales. I bet...

Because they have turbos? I have zero doubt a turbo 6 gets better mileage than a V8 lopping along on the highway and when you get on it you have power and plenty of torque. Thats been the case in the F150 for a while now.

260lbs on the nose of an even lighter truck with a solid front axle will be super noticeable for handling.

I don’t get the appeal personally. It’s still not fast, the range will suck, and it will handle even more like a barge with all that weight up front. I mean yeah it will sound cool but overall won’t actually be better.
