No I haven't, I've never raced either, and I'm sure that race is much more difficult than I can imagine. But:

It really is shocking they didn't...
It's shocking that they didn't take more time to develop and TEST Bronco R before the baja 1000. Especially after years and years And years of waiting but didn't test drive the R that much, it's like Ford rushed it last second. Signs of bad planning. And...
Buttons and knobs, underrated. I dislike my current system which is 99% touch in Explorer. At least have knobs/buttons for the climate. Touch for that is maddening while driving.
They might have just been filming this video.
Roughly lines up (January 10th) with what he said in the video "a few weeks ago" although a few weeks ago would be about January 15th.. But I hope they were testing more for the KOH too. I mean Ford must have filmed that footage BEFORE January 10th...

3) Lets you fold out a big platform using the gate after tailgate is down :)
How are we sure this isn't the baby bronco?
Edit: picture comparison with an earlier leaked "baby bronco" shot. Maybe this new one is just that same test vehicle with slight body changes:
Same I don't see the benefits of having it ve removable. More stuff to loosen over time or break. I don't have much experience in jeeps on sunny days tho to sway my opinion maybe someone else can explain why it's worth it?
